I've had every generation of Gameboy I'm pretty sure. I still remember trying to play while on a trip in the car. Playing as much as I can under the streetlights. I remember my mom bringing home the Gameboy Advanced SP. I was so excited.
It was okay in some regards. It just seemed like a step down from weekly contests and other events that were in the previous generation. But I think age has a lot to do with it. I gamble that a lot of people that like Generation III haven't held an actual GAMEBOY®
The brick was one of my most beloved possessions growing up.
I'd have to agree. I did love Generation III, but I just felt it was super boring... at least until Emerald came out which fixed all that with the Rayquazza/Groudon/Kyogre interaction. As well as a pretty nice post-game in terms of the Battle Frontier.
Hopefully. That seems to be their business model, anyways. I will admit that it isn't my favorite, but I liked it loads better than Generation III! That may just be me, though...
