June 3rd, 2013 5:06 PMNakuzamiThat's Pikachu's forte, silly. d; Slowbro is a comical, and oddly adorable, pokemon.
No one, of course! After all, every single serious pokemon trainer is a drop-out! xD -
June 3rd, 2013 4:57 PMGrif of HeartsSlowbro is the best when summoning waves. I imagine him riding a surfboard.
Sounds perfectly logical. ;D Who needs homework when there are Pokémon to discuss? -
June 3rd, 2013 4:30 PMNakuzamiNo, it isn't, but it's awesome. Then again, they probably shouldn't be able to summon tsunami waves. >.>; Ferrets are awesome, lol.
That's good! xD
Great! I'm excited to see it, lol. Any reason to procrastinate on my last minute homework, I suppose. d; -
June 3rd, 2013 4:25 PMGrif of HeartsFurret love to swim, I suppose. Then again, they are based on ferrets, which are supposed to be quite good swimmers. It's not completely ridiculous.
Sounds like a good enough name for me. :3
I've muddled with things a little bit. I'll just finish the ghost island and show you the map. All I'll have left to do from then are the psychic and normal islands. -
June 3rd, 2013 4:10 PMNakuzamiI know. ;u;
And so many of them, like Furret, can randomly learn Surf. They're a nice type to have. There's a reason they cover everything when it comes to the TCG. d:
I think I had the ground type Arena Master as Sarah. xD
(But that's so cliche I don't even.) -
June 3rd, 2013 3:57 PMGrif of HeartsTeddiursa's too adorable to evolve. <3
Exactly. Ursaring for example can learn thunder punch, ice punch and fire punch and several fighting type moves, giving it incredible type coverage. A rock type Pokémon, thinking it has the upper hand, will be surprised to be struck by an ice-type move!
Lilian is good. I like it. :) Just be sure to call the ground type gym Sandra. ;D
(AKA, it's no fun unless the names have type references in them) -
June 3rd, 2013 3:33 PMNakuzamiYou can still be unique with the same pokemon~ Give it some interesting markings or different colored fur. Have it with an interesting personality, whatever! Ash has shared pokemon species with some of his companions, but they kept them unique. :3 And, yeah, I probably won't be evolving my Teddiursa, lol.
They're awesome. :3 It was fun, and the pokemon are versatile, making them rather formidable. d: Also, I think the Arena leader for the Normal Arena is a woman named Lil-. . . Lilian, I think? Lol -
June 3rd, 2013 3:09 PMGrif of HeartsNeither do I. I just like the idea of keeping everyone unique. I'll probably end up with a Teddiursa either way, but I might not start with one this time. I did intend on evolving this Teddiursa, but only in the later stages of the roleplay. I want to keep it adorable for as long as possible!
Exactly! They have great potential, but I've never had much of a chance to use them. A normal type gym leader sounds like fun though, since there's so much potential! I just call designing the normal type arena leader in this roleplay. ;3 -
June 3rd, 2013 2:11 PMNakuzamiI don't see any issue with two people having the same pokemon, lol. Did you plan to evolve your Teddiursa? We could always come up with some cute story about how they're siblings and we came across them and SOMETHING HAPPENS and we befriended them and such. d:
I like Normal-types. They're so various and, as you said, adaptable, and they only have one weakness and an immunity! Lol. There's quite a few pokemon of the type that I adore. During one of Red's Hawt Chibi Pelipper's roleplays, I played as a Normal-typed gym leader in the Johto Region. ;3
You're welcome~ -
June 3rd, 2013 1:28 PMGrif of HeartsAre you hellbent on having your own Teddiursa? I'm sure if you want one I can find some other Pokémon to fill the gap. There are plenty of adorable normal types. Snubbull. <3
An interesting selection of types. I imagine they'd be quite lethal if played correctly. I love the designs of normal types, ranging from the adorable Igglybuff to the terrifying looking Kangaskhan, but I never found much use for them in the actual games. Adaptability is useful, but I enjoy specialisation. Roleplays are a chance for me to give them a spin.
Thanks. ;D -
June 3rd, 2013 12:10 PMNakuzamiThen we shall be united via Teddiursa! Maybe we can come up with some joint post scenario for both of us to catch them at the same time? |3
I had originally planned to use Dark/Psychic/Ghost/Poison pokés, but now I seem to be heading in a much different direction. :>
Good luck with that. d; -
June 3rd, 2013 11:55 AMGrif of HeartsOh? Well, I'm going for Teddiursa and Snubbull then. 8D
I'm incredibly tempted to do a normal-type only run this time. Maybe a little variation here and there with folks like Slowbro, but mostly normal types.
Grand! *Magikarp used Splash* -
June 3rd, 2013 9:43 AMNakuzamiWell, you can have any two pure-typed pokémon OR one dual-typed pokémon. d:
ONLY THE CUTEST MAY SURVIVE!
Pokémon will be able to remember any and all moves that they learn. d: -
June 3rd, 2013 7:13 AMGrif of HeartsOh, that's good! I didn't mind having a set group of starters to choose from, but I rather like having a choice. Slowpoke might be mine, I think, or Teddiursa...
Or Snubbull.
Or Combee.
Or Clefa.
Or Meowth.
Or Spoink.
There are so many adorable Pokémon to choose. >.>
Also, if there is a leveling system, I assume that Pokémon will learn the moves as they level up, yes? Will they be restricted to the traditional four moves or will we have more choice? -
June 3rd, 2013 6:52 AMNakuzamiThat's good!
Um, actually, this time around people get to pick their starters. d:
Well then, we must get creative!
//on phone, too lazy to type any more. xD
