Thank you very much! I'm not 100%, but I'm hanging in there. There's definitely been some improvement over the last few days so I'll be back to my normal self in no time hopefully.
Luckily we have other orthopedics here that probably do take my insurance so I'm not too worried. Going to have to extend my kickboxing break since I said to freeze my account until tomorrow and I'm still not up to return, eughhh :(
That's really silly if they don't accept the insurance. Insurance is insurance in the end, it shouldn't matter which company it comes from as long as it relates to the injury. That's at least my take on the situation. Unless of course the insurance can't cover the entire cost, but it should take some of it at least.
I wore an immobilizer for the first day but tried to walk normally past that, the uncomfortable feeling only comes around when I walk for a while or when I lay down specific ways so it's not bad enough to keep wearing it. mom and i are going to call other orthopedics in the area tomorrow to see if they take my insurance :C all should go well </3
You've got it in a boot, right? And were they not accepting your insurance or something along those lines? /: I was getting that vibe by your anonymous post.
It's a lot better but still uncomfortable to walk on after a while and when keeping it in certain spots :( going to get a follow-up at orthopedic soon ;-;
