    I'm tired of Phoenix trash, too. Let's go. I'll frickin' swim there if I have to. ;A;

    And yeah my friend is kind of an idiot. >u>"
    I'd LIKE to live there for a small while, maybe a year or two, so I guess I should at least be able to do papers and junk.

    Your friend must have been really confused, I guess if you live there long-term you'd need someone who can read/write/speak Japanese to translate things like official paperwork for you (like alien registration, moving papers, etc) but it's not something you're required to have yourself. Helps though of course. D8

    take me B] im tired of nyc trash

    Oh thank god! ;A; A friend of mine who lived there for a short time told me. Now that I know I don't HAVE to, that just makes it even easier. >u<

    oh nooo it doesn't, there are plenty of people/foreigners that live there right now for school or work relocation reasons that don't speak the language. That's definitely not true, as someone who has researched this extensively for years you don't have to worry about it at all o: where did you read that? I know plenty who live there and can barely speak jp lol. Just gotta find a way to survive with minimal/no understanding aaaaa

    Japan has a law that if you live there you must know Japanese, as well, so I've still got a while. ;A;

    oh heck yes take me
    One of the main reasons I haven't went yet is because I don't want to go to a country with a different language all alone ='(.

    Adult life sucks uh yes uh yuppa. ;A;

    Let's go to Japan. You, me, my roomie and his gf. All of us get a house. It's cheaper than here for that stuff and it's easier to get the funds lmao

    But seriously the literal cost of being alive is stupid.

    Pfffft yeah Costco here, their minimum pay is $19 an hour. They also get to eat at their food court for free, too. ;A; Like damn we don't even get that. Costco allows you to start getting benefits immediately, too.

    also hi how ya been! any word from the interview yet?

    I took it December. ^_^ But I heard they take about a year after you pass the exam to actually call you in for an interview, which sucks..

    And man sign me up. Here cashier stuff like that is $8-10/hour, and that's in an already-expensive city. :/ But I heard Costco is an amazing place to work because the cashiers get paid $15+ and have very good benefits. I waaaaaant. ; ;

    Yup. Minimum at Whole Foods for all other entry positions are $11 each with cashier being $12. Benefits hit quick and plenty, too. Part time is required at least 20 hours and they can't schedule you for less or force you to leave early if you don't wanna. Plus a 20% off of everything in the store including sales and coupons is great, too.

    And that's awesome! Did you take it recently??

    And yeah rent here sucks for some reason. I'm good if it were just the rent if have to pay, but Internet, electric, and car insurance fees stack up, too.

    Dang omg. I got paid $11 at my receptionist job at a mortgage broker office with no benefits whatsoever when I quit 6 months in and they start at $12 with benefits after 6 months?? Please. I shed tears....

    Though I took a city exam to get an office assistant position in our public colleges since they mostly only hire people who took the job certification exams/passed their typing test and got a very high score so I'm waiting until I'm called to interview for those. Usually takes around a year after the exam until they get to you but it's worth it, the benefits are absolutely amazing and it's a job you can live off of your whole life. Want. ;w;

    (but awwww man that stinks. Hope you can afford your apartment with your salary, though I'm probably just assuming it's way more expensive than it actually is because yay NYC apartment prices ridic.)

    Yeah cashiers at Whole Foods START at $12. Plus a ton of benefits that start hitting after 6 months.

    And meh. The salon sucked ass so I got out. Keeping it chill until I get back into another one for now.

    Ohhh man really..? I never expect most cashiering jobs to have good pay or benefits unless you've been there for ages. Maybe it's just my personal bad experiences with them D: How much is your place? Do you not work at the salon anymore?
