no worries, i tend to forget to reply sometimes anyway or just lack the time~
yeah, i get you though. :( i've been a little more into some cartoons lately (like Steven Universe) but i seriously need to catch up on Mushishi as far as anime goes. so lazy.

That's understandable. Well, if done right it can add to the story, but if it's just for the heck of it I don't like it either. Like, when the author feels like they have to proof something, but it actually has no impact on the plot whatsoever.
Sorry for the late reply, didn't have much time lately. x)

i can totally understand that since it gives a series more depth if done right but not when my favorite are killed off.. then i change my mind entirely, hahaha. that just wrecks my heart and throws it aside. v_v

Hmm, I actually like series that manage to make me mourn over character deaths. It just shows that it managed to get me hooked enough to make me care about them. I also like to kill off my own characters frequently. Happy end is something very subjective...

ouran was hilarious omg hahaha. i don't like series that end up killing characters since it makes me really sad though.. if I knew PH was going to kill my favorite character i wouldn't have gotten into it. it shook me for a while since i loved him soo much and he was so funny. :'( -tear-

Now that I think about it, I don't even know any that are primarily happy in nature, short of Ouran High School Host Club... o.o

Ah, I almost don't dare now. I already got spoilered about Elliot and I've managed to forget about it until now. T.T I love these characters, I don't want to see them suffer...
But I also loved the music of the anime. So much in fact, that I learned Lacie on the piano. xD Seriously, the soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard.

Oh God, Clair. x.x I remember having a hard time with her as well. Her Kingdra is a monster.

I didn't reach the end of the Pandora Hearts manga yet, I should probably continue that some time. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle has been on my want-to-see-list for a long time (as in years) now, but there was always something that was just a little higher on the list...
I didn't know about the other one until now, but the summary sounds really interesting.

Yes! challenges are fun. :3 I've been stuck on Clair for my unevolved challenge in HeartGold for two years now.. it's soo hard.

But oh man you have great taste. I love FMA, Durarara!!, Death Note, Watamote, and Pandora Hearts. The Pandora Hearts manga ending was soo sad though.. sigh. I'm pretty into Magi: Labyrinth of Magic and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle right now so those would totally be my recommendations!

The third generation is actually a rather weird case for me. I played that one long after it appeared, because I had a rather long pause of not playing anything pokemon-related. So Emerald was pretty much the game to get me back into the franchise. At the same time, I didn't like it very much. If it wasn't for the newly introduced abilities, I wouldv'e hated it. By now, I don't mind it much anymore and it's probably the generation I played the most, since I usually took those games for challenges. ^^
At the moment I'm taking a break from the Soul Eater anime, but I'll probably continue with the manga once I'm done with that. That aside, I also liked Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note, Durarara!!, Higurashi, Pandora Hearts, Watamote and some other stuff I'm forgetting right now. What about you? Any recommendations?

hi Tora. <3 good to hear!

and mine.. hard choice, you're right. The second is amazing but the third is when I was at my peak of obsession. also adore Unova despite how underrated it is. what anime/manga do you watch/read?

Hey, I just decided to take you up on your offer. Pokemon is definitely one of the most awesome franchises in existance, haha. But I'm not sure about my favorite generation. I guess I'd say the second for nostalgia reasons, but of course it doesn't have all the awesome new implements of the later games. What's yours?
Hobbies besides Pokemon include more video games of various genres (rogue-like, open world RPG, point-and-click-adventures, you name it), books, music, anime/manga and recently I've been writing a lot.
