i can imagine that was a big move. Have you adjusted well to living in the US? I guess you've been here for a while now. :7:

I live in Scranton PA now, but I grew up in Philly since I was five. I was born in Florida but we moved up to Philly when I was really little for my dad's job. I'm not sure where that is- the only place I know in BK is Coney Island. xD But I know there's some bad neighborhoods there too. Where are you from originally?

I just wasn't in very good areas, I guess. ;_; When we just moved to America we were in King's Highway and then moved a few blocks to East 19th Street or something, haha. Do you live in Philly now or?

Really? It's that bad? I guess it's different if you live there. I'd say the same thing about Philly having grown up there, but it wasn't all that terrible. I don't think it's an amazing city, though I know all the historical events. And all the tourists think it's the birthplace of America lol. And believe it or not I get tired of cheesesteaks no matter how good they are. I can't have them every day.

Yep it was! Yeah I hope so. ;w; && I hate Coney Island and Brooklyn in general, we lived in BK for about 7 years and it was awful. bah

Was it off Gamestop.com? Either way it should be there on the 12th. I just realized that you live in Staten Island too. xD I've got friends there and I was there last summer. We hopped over to Coney Island and it was a lot of fun. Nathan's hot dogs are the best. :7:

I pre-ordered a copy but won't be paying for it until I show up at the store with my ID and method of payment since that was how it worked, according to the site :( I reserved a copy and set the pickup to be at my local gamestop. /crosses fingers

Gamestop is pretty reliable when it comes to that. Pokemon is pretty mainstream, so they'll do everything in their power to be up to speed when a new title comes out. If you're remembering the disaster from Fire Emblem: Awakening's release, it was apparently a shipping error on Nintendo's part or something. I'm sure both sides have learned from that, and being that Pokemon is a lot more popular than FE stateside, they'll make sure they have everything. It's likely the copies are already in the store now. The stores you have to worry about not having the games on release day are the big box stores like Walmart. To them it's just another inventory item so they're less attentive. Since you've reserved your copy already (Which means you've at least partially paid for it, if you haven't paid in full), they're obligated to get you a copy ASAP. The idea behind reservations is knowing how much to order and giving the people who reserved first priority. So you'll be fine. :7: And even if someone doesn't reserve, there's always the eShop xD For Pokemon I wanted a physical copy of the game, but I've downloaded plenty of others.

I probably will pull an all nighter playing it, despite what my husband says haha. He's getting his copy too, so we'll have fun together. But he likes to sleep early so he'll proably go to bed right after we get home. He's so boring sometimes. :7:

I reserved a copy at my local Gamestop too. They're staying open until mdnight for a special release, and they're having a small party too, so I'll have some fun. Maybe I'll meet some local PokeFans that I don't already know through TCG League. :7: I want the 12th to be here already >.<

I'm in Staten Island so the borough neighboring Manhattan and was considering going there day of October 12 (not midnight) to purchase a copy of Pokemon X, but it would cost me at least $10 or so to travel to the city plus I'd have to find a place to eat.. and wait through the crowd of people that will be there. :X soo I just reserved a copy at my local game store. they better have it on the 12th! and samee
