Yorkies can have the same nasty disposition, but unlike Chihuahuas, it's much easier to train them out of it. I've met Yorkies that are very sweet and friendly. Shibas are also great dogs, but they tend to be wary of strangers. They won't attack or anything, but they'll usually try to stay on the opposite side of the room.

Aww! If I were to get a dog I think I'd get a Shiba Inu since they seem really interesting and are just the right size. But little yorkies are adorable as well :3

Everyone thinks they're so cute, but they're made of pure fury. Thankfully a lot of the hybrids rang nearly as aggressive. My second dog was a Jack Russel/Chiuahua mix (Jackchi) and he was really loving and friendly to everyone.

Eeek. :'< I've read so many awful stories on chihuahuas and their behavior. I'm just.. glad I have a nice kitty.

I know the feeling. I've been jumped by this one Chihuahua more times than I can count, and he doesn't like anyone else at the clinic either. Thankfully he's only managed to bite me once, and his owner can usually calm me down.

Oh my gooosh I so agree. :( I like small dogs but they tend to be the "crazier" ones and it's just ugh. :/

It depends on the breed, but in general yes. Huskies are pretty friendly. From my experience it's usually the small dogs that can get nasty. A Jack Russell or anything larger is almost always a sweetie.

Awww! <3 Yeah.. it seems like dogs generally are nicer. My boss has a nice white husky and she's always really excited to see new people~

Mine gets very excited when someone comes over. He's like "Oh, new friend for me to play with!" Many of the cats I see at work don't take too well to new faces (especially when we're looking over them and sticking needles in them), but there's exceptions. When it comes to my job I find dogs more eager to cooperate. They usually "get it" and know that if they let us do our thing it will be over faster.

Tell me about it! Cats are almost like people, bahaha. Mine always hides or runs away when there are guests he doesn't recognize so it makes me wonder how he'd be with other pets.

My cat's not territorial in the slightest and gets very inquisitive when he meets other animals. He's even friendly with most dogs, and he just ignores Lizzie when I take her out. Despite his name Rexie is very submissive. He can get lonely sometimes though. We're thinking getting a dog or another cat to keep him company when we aren't home. It's funny how different cats can be. Some are reclusive and others are social butterflies. :7:

D'awww, they sound adorable. <3 When I move out I definitely want to have at least two pets or so.. assuming I can handle it. Not sure how well my cat would deal with another animal in the house. He doesn't like others in his territory, I'd think. :<

I've worked with both, and I have to say that rabbits smell a lot nicer than ferrets. They're also gentler most of the time, but it can depend on the breeds and the individual rabbit. Reptiles also have some appeal, and even though they're not fluffy, many are becoming popular as of late. They're great for kids with allergies, making a lot of parents favor them, but like all animals, not every reptile is good for a child. Beardies are among the easier lizards to care for, as well as the most docile. You'll almost never hear of a bearded dragon biting its owner.

I prefer fluffy animals.. I'm a shameful person, hehe. Fish and reptiles wouldn't really appeal to me much. But d'aww, those poor 'lil ferrets require so much work. :( I'd get a bunny but I've heard their.. smell isn't that nice.. Lizzie sounds awesome, though!
