I'm sure I'd find tons of google docs about it but for now I'll just sit around and wait. ohh the wait has been a killer, I almost forgot about that game. Kind of like Starbound. ~_~

I know. I wonder what the problem was.
*kicks case full of arguments against translating Layton VS Wright under bed*

Oh wow. Pretty sure I read about it in 2010 or 2011ish. Took that long? :(

It's coming out in 2014 for North America, Europe, and Australia. Can't wait.

Hmmm, so many! And yeah I've heard of the crossover years ago, did that ever come out in the US?! ;_; Haven't seen or heard anything about it since 8(

Hmm... I think there are 2 trilogies and a seventh game in the works that looks absolutely nothing like the games before it.
The first one consists of the Curious Village, the Diabolical Box, and the Unwound Future.
The other trilogy is the prequel trilogy, which consists of the Last Spectre, the Miracle Mask, and the Azran Legacy. Azran Legacy has only come out in Japan so far.
There is also a crossover with Ace Attorney, and an iOS game which I mentioned earlier which features Layton's son, Alfendi Layton, and his assistant, which you play as.
There's a movie that takes place between the Last Spectre and the Miracle Mask called "The Eternal Diva".

You know, I got most of that from Wikipedia.

I've actually never played Ace Attorney either so yay for being shameful. How many games are in the Layton series? I don't think I'd be able to buy them all but it would be nice to own at least a few copies. o:

Thanks for the heads up! Layton Brothers isn't really much like the main series, though. It's more like Ace Attorney, but with mysteries. The main series games have an awesome plot! If you were to get one, there is a prequel trilogy, but I recommend that you start with the first game in real time first, the Curious Village.

So, would putting "or I'll cut off your tongue" in my signature be against a rule, or...
It's a reference to the game Layton Brothers for the iOS, a spinoff of the Prof. Layton series.
