The basic RNG procedure for IV/shiny breeding!:
Synchronize (adjust both) times of your DS clock and any external clock that reads seconds (e.g. computer clock).
Be aware of your DS's date and year as well.
    Turn on game.
Obtain Poketch Applications #6 (Happiness Checker) and #15 (Coin Toss).
Have 5 Party Pokemon in any area with Wild Pokemon (e.g. grass).
Save, turn off. Note your time (just minutes).
Turn on, press A quickly, press Continue adventure.
    Catch a wild Pokemon.
    Check IVs and get nature.
Use RNG Reporter, it will find out your delay, seconds, and initial seed based on the caught Pokemon's information and the time/date.
Use the RNG Reporter to then find a shiny, good IV, etc. Details later; I can help.

    Delay:
This number starts when you power on (or soft reset on) any of the Pokémon games.
This number runs until you press the A button on the Continue screen.
This number typically ranges from 580-610 (Platinum) or 590-620 (Diamond/Pearl).

    Soft Reset:
    Like pressing the reset button.
Press Start+Select+L+R at any time while playing the game.
You will return to the main menu.

    Initial seed:
This number is created by a combination of these two factors:
target time (day, month, year, time)
delay (how fast/slow you turn on the game, press A quickly, and hit Continue)

I am pretty retarded. What the heck is initial seed and what the heck is soft reset and delay time??? Can't you explain this process in a simple way

    TwilightBlade
Um, you actually get 2-3 IVs from parents and the rest from RNG. So yeah.. Use your Ditto. You should be successful. :o

So is this how you got your great IV pokemon within a month when it takes about 3-4?

RNG is in-game mechanics. So yes, any Pokemon can be RNG abused (hatched, wild, wondercard, legendary, etc).

Does this technique work when you breed pokemon?
