Howdy there partner. Mostly thinking about life, but I've managed to squeeze some writing in edgewise. You?

Yep, but I think it'll work nicely. I'm in the mood for some ham after all the dark, dreary stuff I've been writing.

I'm ace at presentation; not so much payout. Legit I only remembered that thing on Saturday and I managed a solid two pages.

Ah, that works. Nice presentation, by the way.

I haven't even started on that fiction draft yet... I got swamped at work :| I have brainstormed out the plot of it, however, and I should have the time this weekend to sit down and plow through it.

I'd like to tell you a very interesting story involving self-discovery, a buxom travelling companion, lessons never learned, a "heart sundae," and a hearty taste for gold and adventure - not exactly in that order - but my name just means "ice" bro.

Ah, excellent question! It's the name of the main character in my first novel. Since then I've been using it as my username.

That novel was awful, by the way. I had no concept of character growth or conflict at the time, and the main character was a super-powered magical badass.

And where do you get your name from?

What is a "Bardothren" or just what does your username mean? I dunno why I'm asking, I was just sitting in class procrastinating and it started bothering me :P lol

He-he, I felt like keeping it simple for this one. The simpler the plot is, the easier a time I'll have writing a fun character.

Story plot: Delving into ancient ruins on a remote, desolate island, navigating traps and pitfalls, and finding treasure the likes of which have never been seen before, all to pay off a college debt! (at least for now)
    A-1 ham my friend

Hmm... I'm not a fan of proofreading either, but at the same time, there's a joy at seeing your writing get better with time and finding better ways to tell the story. For example, I thought my first story was pretty good when I wrote it, but now, I absolutely despise it and think I did it all horribly wrong. I've found that the best way to get better at writing is to give and receive criticism, and the more sound, well thought-out, constructive input you get, the better, so I like to pick apart stories and show what works/doesn't work both for my own sake and for others.

And wow, you're up to seven pokemon stories? I better pick up my pace then :D

Lemme pretend for a minute that you didn't just peck my bones dry... No srsly I do thank you for taking time and writing all that even though I didn't ask. I can answer most of your criticism with three words: I hate proofreading. Well, not all the time, because I do skim for spelling/grammar mishaps, but for the most part I hate it...eighty percent of the issue there. The other twenty percent, you mentioned the writing wasn't as good as Revolution, that's 'cause each of my pokemon stories (seven I think) have a different writing style :P
