May 23rd, 2009 10:54 PMAyano KatagiriYou're welcome. ^^
I think I might actually try to complete a tutorial on CSS sometime this week. It'd probably be helpful for a lot more people. :3
Nothing much aye, I just had dinner. How about you? -
May 23rd, 2009 10:18 PMD i v i n e XThank you so much.
<3 x3.
I finally know how to do this.
Well, better start practicing.
What are you up to anyway?
-
May 23rd, 2009 10:11 PMAyano KatagiriIt isn't once you get the hang of it. :3
Linking images is just the usual BBcoding and nothing to do with CSS.
To put all the stuff into the box area, you put the css-div tag with its attributes around it.
E.g. [css-div="border: 1px solid blue; width: 300px; height: 200px; background-color: red;"]You then put your signature stuff in here such as your banner or text.[/css-div]
Will give you:
You then put your signature stuff in here such as your banner or text. -
May 23rd, 2009 10:05 PMD i v i n e XWell, then. Doesn't sound too hard.
Haha.
So, its all coding right, well how do you get like little images (with links.) and text into the box area? -
May 23rd, 2009 10:03 PMAyano KatagiriIt's not too difficult, but might take some time to explain.
Um, the basic coding is the [css-div] tag and how you customize your sig is dependent on what you put in that tag after that.
E.g. [css-div="border: 1px solid black; width: 400px; height: 200px;"]*your sig here[/css-div] will give you a CSS "box" of 400 by 200 pixels with your signature inside. There's also quite a lot of other coding that can be done to change it, such as the rounded corners in my current one or using a background color/image. -
May 23rd, 2009 9:53 PMD i v i n e XWell then, if its not too bad, can I learn how to CSS from you, themes are all new to me.
-
May 23rd, 2009 9:49 PMAyano KatagiriIncluding the banner with the MAL updates?
I was actually thinking of writing up a tutorial on the coding part.. I haven't got round to completing it yet though. ;; -
May 23rd, 2009 9:43 PMD i v i n e XWell all of it really. Sorry if this is taking up your time.
Is there a tut on it or.. etc?
