    I'd expect so, since they've been translated and then imported. They're about $20 for a volume, while it's like only $10? perhaps in Japan for comparison.

    Yeah it was one of those shows where they show you new gizmos and whatnot. XD

    I have a japanese friend in my class. She said the manga's here are really expensive.. XD;

    O_O Whoa... that one sounds really hard out. I haven't seen any that do voice recognition, but yeah.
    I'll just keep stealing my friend's one when I need it during Japanese instead. xD

    Yeah they would be, but it was pretty cool. The guy spoke in it in english and it translated back into whatever language he wanted. And it works for signs too, you'd take a picture of a sign with the device and it would translate it for you.

    A couple of my classmates do too, since we take in international students.

    I haven't seen any of that stuff here before. They're pretty expensive. D:

    Oh, someone has one of them at my school, because she doesn't know much english.

    I did see a electronic translator on TV the other day though, I don't know if they're for sale yet. :x

    Well, dictionaries. Which are close enough, aren't they?

    They have electronic phrase books? O_O

    Yeah. I found a phrase book more useful than a dictionary too... not suprisingly though. XD It took me ages to flip through it everytime.

    An electronic one is awesome though.

    Oh well, if I don't learn japanese before I go to Japan, if I ever go, then phrase book it is.. XD

    But it would be cool to learn japanese, so I'll try to make the effort in learning. :<

    The easy things are all you need to start with. Everything else... can be depended on the phrase books. xD
