Got back issues, including scoliosis and... something latin-sounding for "hump" which means I need to do swimming and take medication to relax my muscles.
I just cut to the last part without the "again". I managed to follow enough instructions right for them to assume they hadn't been clear enough and repeat them on their own instead of realising I didn't understand them!
did you sometimes have to do the awkward "what?" "can you repeat that?" "okay i'll... i'll just do what I understand to be correct bc I dont wanna ask again..."
Well honestly, developing that ability is a pretty important step when learning a new language.
Today I managed to surive a x-ray test despite having to follow orders from the doctor in Catalan! I'm proud of myself even if at some points I literally did not understand a sound of what they spoke.
