Just approach him and be your usual friendly self. He's just about as random and normal as the rest of us...you just gotta try.

Ehh...I don't think it's that they don't want to get to know him...it's more like he's about as active and outspoken as I am. (Which is not very outspoken or social at all)

He tends to be more interactive if you manage to try hard enough...but he's slowly but surely becoming apathetic...mostly because he isn't as big of a pokemon fan as he used to be...and I don't think they really bother to try to socialize with him very often. o.o

Why would they not want to get to know Rukario? I have always wanted to get to know him but I don't know what to say.

...for someone who feels like he's hated as much as he's loved...yeah it seems I throw a lot more weight than I might normally expect to. Though, if I really feel like getting something done, I can poke Rukario. He's usually really open to things and will actually act and do something if he feels you've thought it through enough and have a good point. :p

It doesn't hurt that we're sorta friends in a way. I don't think the rest of the staff bothers to really befriend or get to know him...so he ends up being unpredictable...and since he's the top active administrator, his word is law if the situation needs that kind of force.

    I know. <3

Fortunately the staff has enough sense lately to keep dramatic things out of the public domain, or out of my sight anyways...as long as they make that effort, I can try to pay no mind to it so long as it doesn't spill out and become an issue that I inevitably get pulled into. >_>

Several members of staff like to bounce ideas off of me on random, rare occasions...so if something serious were to come up, one of them might be tempted to "subtly" ask me what I might do in a situation. I'm not saying this happens often, but if it's bugging someone enough and I happen to be the only person on their contact list that's avalible...it happens. XD

Of course if they keep it silent, they don't have to hear my opinion. Oftentimes the side that my opinion goes against gets butt-hurt the worst. xD

That and some of the staff members really don't like that I'm stubborn and passionate about PC enough to openly challenge them if I feel like they've done something abusive or detrimental.

So it was drama and such?

Essentially, someone bothered to explain some things that they typically don't mention to a member, because I had questions about certain incidents that had me convinced that they WERE thoroughly corrupt.

Oh sure, they couldn't give me details...but they were able to give me the general assurance that any instance of 'abuse' that I could think of had a rational, logical and fair outcome. Naturally that person shared their ideas on what they thought about how the situation was handled and they didn't always agree with it completely, but they didn't see any reason to challenge it because there wasn't as much uncalled for malice as there seemed to be.
