November 18th, 2014 6:35 AMgimmepieActually it's RP stuff I have to do xD
-
November 18th, 2014 6:11 AMChocolate™Well every person to his own choice. Anyways that's awesome:D Those are my favorite books.
Well real life always gets in the way of what matters..... -
November 18th, 2014 5:24 AMgimmepieWell I've only read two, but I really like his writing style and the stories were quite different. Inferno seems to have a really interesting plot I'm looking forward to starting it. I think he's a writer you either love or hate though. I bought Eldest too, I have the complete Inheritance Trilogy in my possession again at last haha.
It'll be posted fairly soon, just a few little things to do first. :) -
November 17th, 2014 6:38 AMChocolate™That's pretty dang cool.
From what I've heard, later on Dan Brown's books become very similar.
For whatever reason, I seem to write in all Caps a lot. BY mistake though.
How long for your RP to be released to us public though. -
November 16th, 2014 7:32 AMgimmepieI've never heard of that one. I'll have to look it up :)
I bought Inferno by Dan Brown the other day though, so that's next on my list to read.
Fair enough xD -
November 15th, 2014 8:59 AMChocolate™That sounds a lot like Sphere by Michael Chricton.
Although the disasters and stuff sounds really cool.
Ah, well me too. It's just that some of the really good games are available on STeam and it's reliable and easy to use. -
November 15th, 2014 8:01 AMgimmepieThe book's about a mysterious intelligence that dwells within our oceans. Throughout history it has been unknown to us, however during the book it rises up to take vengeance upon humanity for polluting its home.
Through some very clever scientific means it unleashes natural disasters (big ones. BIG ones), whale attacks and plagues of toxic creatures upon us with the intent of wiping us out. The book follows a large cast of characters (primarily scientists) as they work to discover the source of these disasters and stop further destruction before the human race is eliminated.
I'm not a huge gamer so there's not really much point in me getting Steam. -
November 14th, 2014 9:40 AMChocolate™Haha lol.
What is it about though. And no, I am not going to Google it.
But seriously Why? -
November 13th, 2014 6:18 AMgimmepieBut far less motivated xD
It is, incredibly so.
Mwahahahhahaha -
November 13th, 2014 6:08 AMChocolate™I know it's pretty nice that you're not as lazy as me....
Hmmm. Sounds interesting.
You shame me by having no Steam you piece of p*e. -
November 12th, 2014 7:55 AMgimmepieI don't know if I'm lazy as such, but I lose motivation. I find it hard to really do things if I don't feel motivated to.
They are very well thought out scientifically. I've probably said it before but try The Swarm by Frank Schatzing, it's very well thought out scientifically too and the story is excellent.
I don't have steam xD -
November 12th, 2014 7:40 AMChocolate™Haha yeah totally agree with that one. I've tried like sticking to a particular schedule while doing the same but find that I'm too lazy.
Yea, I've read only those 2 lol. But I think his books are pretty good.
It's really cartoony and very balanced. Try it on Steam, it's fine. -
November 11th, 2014 8:20 PMgimmepieI can get a bit like that myself
I've tried to write books before but I always lose the motivation or get disinterested with the story after a chapter. I think that's partly why RPing appeals to me so much, I get to be a part of creating a story but I still get to read one.
I've read Jurassic Park, but that's it. Another one that features genetics haha.
I haven't, I'm not a huge fan of FPS tbh.
Why do you like it? -
November 11th, 2014 7:41 AMChocolate™I mean I always mean to write really, really long and descriptive posts but well..... lazy. I say I'm gonna work on one page everyday of the week and then after 6 days I struggle to write half a page.
Really interesting. Pretty adult though. Have you read any of his books?
Kk. Speaking of which I've been addicted to this fps game called Team Fortress 2. Have you played it? -
November 11th, 2014 7:27 AMgimmepiehaha
I don't like writing short posts either xD
I've never read it, is it interesting?
No worries. Tbh I don't know any real details myself anyway.
