April 11th, 2012 6:01 PMMockingjayWell, if you've been in any English class at all, you should have common knowledge that things should look presentable no matter the situation. However, not everyone thinks like this. I just find it...a bit irritable. :\
If there are so many errors in something, I will immediately stop reading, regardless if the story is "oh so great." -
April 11th, 2012 5:58 PMbobandbillThing is it's not common knowledge for people new to it becaus they have no experience with it. =p And people who know it tend to have already been in fics for at least a small amount of time.
And if people type like that in their story it's best just to report so it can be closed, given FF&W has a quality requirement for stuff posted. -
April 11th, 2012 5:42 PMMockingjayIf you're going to post a fan fiction, common knowledge should be that it should not look ridiculous. You should also be very open to criticism, which so many people do not take easily.
when ppl typ liek diz n try 2 post it as a fanfic...
it just makes me...want to jump out of a window. -
April 11th, 2012 5:36 PMbobandbillAh, presentation. I suppose that's a common problem people newer to fics tend to make (and not just here - it's a pretty common problem from what I've seen).
And hurrah! -
April 11th, 2012 5:21 PMMockingjayWell, out of the few I've skimmed and scanned, there are some threads that are fairly unorganized and scattered. It's like as if people have never heard of the tab or enter buttons. It's also as if they've never discovered how to use commas.
In other news, in approximately [enter times/days], I will be posting my Mystery Dungeon fan fiction on here. :D. Huzzah! -
April 11th, 2012 5:17 PMbobandbillWhile I hit my internet router, care to elaborate? =p
-
April 11th, 2012 5:10 PMMockingjayOk, I finally looked into the fan fiction part of PC, and ohmygoshwhatisthisnonsense
Some of these posts....oh why. Why. -
April 8th, 2012 3:55 PMbobandbillI don't know how to do one of those. =( But the weather has been better here recently so I guess there is no need...for now.
I hope you had a good easter! -
April 1st, 2012 5:21 AMMockingjayQUICK! DO A BACKWARDS RAIN DANCE! It might help!!!
Ugh. I went swimming this weekend because it was THAT hot. lol -
March 31st, 2012 6:59 PMbobandbillI am very much looking forward to the easter break as I get a week off uni after Good Friday (bar assessment tasks to worry about on the other side, but hey!).
I BLAME THE WEATHER GODS -
March 28th, 2012 9:01 AMMockingjayJust a few short months away until time is plentiful~!
Hahaha, funny thing...it rained here the other day, and it was flooding everywhere. People were all "Oh, let's go swimming in my backyard later!" and "Jeez, we need to take boats to school."
However, now, it's just...a bit TOO hot than normal whenever it is March around here. This just will not do!
GLOBAL WARMING. CLIMATE CHANGE. Whatever it's called! -
March 28th, 2012 3:57 AMbobandbillYay for time! Understandable with the being busy atm thing though... kinda in the same boat. >_> So that describes me (besides being sick AGAIN last week on top of it, bleh. Not the best start to uni. =p)
Getting...cooler I suppose although summer was pretty cool for our standards already. Lots of rain though - one day flooded part of the uni and turned the oval by the physics building into a lake. So that was fun! -
March 28th, 2012 2:26 AMMockingjayI type up some stuff every so often, but I'm a bit too busy with other stuff at the moment and whatnot. I get out of school may 28th, and after that, I have a TON of time...which I am looking forward to. :d
For now, however, I'm typing something up every so often.
How about you? How's everything going on your end?
It's gotten hotter here. Every day it's in the 70s - 80s (Fahrenheit). -
March 27th, 2012 11:51 PMbobandbillHow's stuff going, like the story and life and all?
-
March 11th, 2012 7:09 AMMockingjayYou get well soon as well :0 (if you're still sick that is!)
