Ooooh, I check out that website you gave me. It looks like that emulator hasn't been updated in awhile. Da last one was in 05. Did it come with a list of compatible games? Cuz I couldn't find it on da website.

That's probably da reason why it won't run Crystal Version. It probably hasn't been program to run every GBC rom...maybe...

I have only tried Crystal so I guess I will try Silver to see if it works...

Yeah, both of them are Game Boy games. I imagine you could probably even get Gold and Silver to run...Thing is, Crystal version is a Game Boy Color...That's why I asked you have you tried out any other GBC games, beside Crystal Version in your PSP?

Oh, wait...You said you were using an emulator too? Is it Visual Boy Advance?

Ya the emulator plays gameboy and gameboy color roms. Pokemon Yellow works fine and Pokemon Red (gb) works fine too.

Man? That weird. Wait, what other type of games are you using. Have you tried using any other Game Boy Color games in your PSP, beside Crystal Version?

Like Donkey Kong Country or Mario Tennis? Try testing that and see if it works.

    LOL

Seriously...Strange, but I'm pretty sure Crystal Version don't have AP protection in it. LOL

And I still don't own a PSP...sadly, so I don't what to tell you to get pass your problem. But if use Visual Boy, I'm sure you can run Crystal Version with ease...But I know you want to play it on da go, right?

Have you tried any other roms?

Ok cool. I am surprised it is no AP crap - hell Pokemon Crystal was giving me sh*t about starting up on my PSP the other night 0.,0 I was like are you kidding me?!

It said: This game was designed to play on the Nintendo GBC.

    -.-

You're gonna play Sol Plat? Okay, cool...Tho, if you ask me Neo Soul is better. :p
But...can be harder to run, than Sol Plat...So, you chose the right game to start off with. :)

You're asking if you use a rom editor to go over the stuff I did in the rom already? Um, I don't see why not, but I really wouldn't see the point in it...Unless, you meant to see all the stuff I did?

Then, no...To both. I don't think your rom would have any second effects from it. Ya see Platinum version doesn't have any Anti-Piracy in it, meanin it's easier to deal with. :D YAY!

Um, also, yeah...It should run in Desmume with no problem. Hell, I'm sure you could run Plat on No$gba with no prob, too...Like I said, no AP.

Hey I am going to try out your mod (Pokemon Sol Platinum) but I had two questions...

    1. After I apply the mod if I use a save game/rom editor on it will there be any conflicts? because of the customizations?
    2. Does the mod work well with DeSmuME (64bit)?

Hey, thanks for da advice. I'll make sure to take a good look at it, when I'm gettin' ready to buy it.

I always wanted to play Birth By Sleep, never played it before...Uhh...also, being able to play nintendo games on a sony device, isn't that half bad neither. LOL

Thats ok... I see what you mean with a mod. and a complete hack now :D. If you ever wanted to you should get a PSP 1000 or 2000 they are cheap and they can play every old gen console (like NES, SNES, Sega, and etc.).

Oh, okay. I understand. Yeah, I wouldn't know about playing any DS games on my PSP.

    1: I don't own one. :'(
    2: I wouldn't know how to do it if I did. D':

By the way, I don't know if you already knew this, but there's a different between a complete rom hack and rom modification.

A complete rom hack is when the game storyline is changed completely. Events, scripting...Stuff like that. My favorite one are Flora Sky and there another one, but I forget it's name. It has Fakemon and new music in it. And it's not Topaz. LOL

A rom modification is when the game storyline is completely the same, the only thing different, it's harder and every Pokemon is available and stuff. There's stats and moveset been changed.

A complete hacks takes more time to do then a mod...I probably will try my hands at a 3rd gen one of these dayz...Maybe...I wouldn't count it tho. LOL

Ya I like NDS a lot but I wanted to try a gba mod (complete) so I can play it on my psp :D. The ds emulator on psp is terrible...

Ooooh, you're talking about gba games...damn, a long time ago, I did have one. It was called Pokemon Ruby Redux, but that game was just...too glitchy...Well, actually, just incomplete. It was my first game, but I've been deleted that rom and stuff...

Sorry. Isn't NDS just as good as GBA? Especially, if you're just looking for a mod and not a complete rom hack?
