    Nica's been bugging me to get an answer out of you/Netto re: Trivia's involvement in this. It's OK if it's a no... Nica just needs to know sooner rather than later. Thanks very much! :D

    You are very welcome! I'll try to make more than one claim next time

    That one looks vaguely familiar. I should be doing Calculus next semester though, so it'll probably get stuck in my brain then!

    When you do eventually do calculus, you'll also remember that dy/dx of sinx = cosx. That one gets used a loooooooot.

    The Quadratic Formula is the one formula that I can always remember and I don't have to dig through my brain in order to find it.

    x = -b +/- √b^2 - 4ac
    -------------------------
    2a

    I think I'm going to remember the quadratic formula for the rest of my life.

    The last time I took Algebra II was Sophomore Year, though I suppose I retook it during the summer (stupid CLM exam). Then I learned things like Quadratic Formula, Completing the Square, some things you should have learned in Algebra I, and some other things. If I was at home I could skim through my old math work, but I'm currently at the College with only my Pre-Cal work at hand. And true, quite true.

    I get that there are separate definitions, but I have no idea what is 'within' Algebra II, for example. It's that sort of stuff that I'm interested in learning more about. And yes, the US is weird, but so are most countries in their own way.

    Hmm... I'm not too sure how to explain it. I suppose you can say it's a mix between what you learn in Algebra II, and the basics that you might explore in Calculus? It could also be known as Algebra III. In many cases, it's actually Algebra and Trigonometry in the same course, though my current Pre-Cal isn't going to really be touching on Trig due to time. If you have 'Pre-Algebra' you could also think of it like that.

    The US is weird.

    I mean more generally. What exactly is pre-cal? The US teaching of mathematics is quite alien to me... I just learned everything mathematical together, with no real division. So to hear people having separate classes in algebra and trigonometry just feels weird, but that's just from my experience.

    It's the Calculus before the Calculus? idk. It's between College Algebra/Algebra II and Calculus. Sometimes it's mixed in with Trigonometry.

    What exactly is 'pre'-cal? Normal maths?

    If you could I would totally let you take my Pre-Cal exam for me. :P

    I miss calculus so much. f(x) = 2x + 5 | dy/dx x f(x) = 2. Memories!
