December 29th, 2012 6:29 PMWingedDragonWhat would you suggest to add to my team? I seem to want to run a darker team. I am adding hydreigon and considering Chandelure

September 8th, 2012 7:35 AMFairyTechnically, a Sassy Ferroseed can work.. but it kind of depends on your team's weaknesses/strengths.

September 5th, 2012 5:53 PMWingedDragonWhat about a Venipede? Ive been entertaining that idea

September 5th, 2012 5:46 PMFairyNaahh Zoroark (Illusion pokemon you were talking about, right?) is UU. So don't worry about that. And honestly, it's difficult to calculate the IVs of a pokemon based on one stat at lv.1 without knowing the rest of the stats, what pokemon it is, and what stat you're talking about but here is an IV calculator that can help determine the IVs of an individual pokemon.
If you want a Ferrothorn suited for competitive play, Ferroseed wants a Relaxed nature [+Defense; -Speed]. A Lax nature raises Defense and lowers Special Defense so..
EDIT: Oh, and if you're going with Ferrothorn over Forretress, Jellicent still makes a great partner for the same reasons (spin blocking). That and Jellicent and Ferrothorn as a team resist every type attack except ground and flying. :] -
September 5th, 2012 1:24 PMWingedDragonis a ferroseed w lax nature good?
ive hatched 10 of them 8 had non effective natures -
September 5th, 2012 10:01 AMWingedDragonSucks that chomp is banned but i can build around hax. going with ferro. pondering goin with that illusion pkmn if it isnt uberd lol. Still thinkin bout solid fire type and psychic or dark type. Have a garnivore ready in another game to transfer. also when a pkmn lv1 stat has a 7 in it thats a good thing right?

September 5th, 2012 4:34 AMFairyWell, right now the raters are suggesting you pokemon that stay in the OU tier, which is the standard play. So like, Forretress and Jellicent are OU. Pokemon like Blastoise are NU (possibly RU) and cannot viably be used in OU (because there are pokemon in OU that can do Blastoise's job better). And pokemon like Garchomp are in the Uber tier and are therefore banned from standard play.
However, there are plenty of great Dragons in OU you can choose from! Like Haxorus, Dragonite, and the Lati-Twins, just to name a few. If you want a full list of the Dragon pokemon viable in OU or want good competitive sets for them, just ask! ^o^ -
September 4th, 2012 10:45 PMWingedDragonThanks. Right now still deciding on which dragons thatll be the core. Leaning towards redoing chomp w a speed nature comboing hydro. Want to use blastiose. Made a defensive one but that doesnt work either. Got other ideas including bugs

September 4th, 2012 3:47 PMFairyHey there! I wanted to follow up with you personally to make sure your team is doing well! n_n;
Don't forget to post an RMT once your team of (ideally 6, but we can work with 5) is complete and up to competitive standards! And don't be afraid to ask the raters any questions you have! I'll be posting a small response about your Forretress soon!
