I got Galeforce on Sumia & Cordelia and Lucina/Morgan are destroying everything omg now I just have to do Lissa :3 Grinding is so annoying especially because you have to buy Reeking Boxes and they're expensive omg it's kinda fun to have actual good people this time haha
OH GALEFORCE THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE
well it took me ages to train my avatar (i had to take priority for my avatar because lucina comes in after chapter 13 and i want her to learn it). at one point i'm like SCREW THIS I'M PLAYING OTHER GAMES LIKE ANIMAL CROSSING
well, i succeeded in that, but i still have sumia, lissa and cordelia to train to get galeforce so i'm crying right now, like why this
so i think it's really annoying to train your units, but the payback is so good! like, i can pair up lucina and morgan and since they both know galeforce they tend to wipe out 3 units in one turn. if almost everyone learns galeforce i'm going to have a whole team of wipers and that's good.
so in short you should take breaks and play other games while grinding! that's what i did :'D
me too I wanted to repair everybody but I ended up keeping nowi/stahl and lon'qu/lissa because i can't bring myself to repair them omg also frederick/panne because their convos are funny
I'm just doing hard/casual the second time around and it's not even hard its just "let's not give them random risen spawns to train in and give them wyverns instead of pegasus enemies and make reeking boxes expensive" and it's so annoying because I want to not die every time i can't train everybody before chapter 11 D:
I want to see what different stuff like Galeforce would make because I didn't pay attention the first time. x3
i'm doing a second playthrough of the game, which is basically me trying effective child inheritances and learning skills and all that, but also pairing cute ships like lon'qu and lissa u///u
so far i'm doing okay, with female avatar's whole family learning galeforce (except chrom because he can't uwu) and destroying everything in their way ahahaha... but i kind of forgot about inheriting skills when i recruited yarne and kjelle and now they aren't as good as other children ;w; but it's ok because i won't ever use them anyway
yesss me too actually!! I haven't played any other fire emblem games I'm really scared of the dying factor mostly because i've played the game on casual mode and would lose basically everyone but avatar/chrom on each round so I'm pretty sure I would suck
I take a look at the video games subforum, and I see you've made a post in the "Fire Emblem: Awakening" thread?! I'm so happy there's someone I know who also plays that game 'w' (even though I'm a complete newbie and have never played other Fire Emblem games so I'm kind of ashamed haha)
BIGOCTO HAHAHAHAOMG that guy gave me so much trouble! It took me almost ages to finally destroy him, and my hand hurt all the time so I had to take rests (I was playing 3DS version)... I have this on-and-off problem with minibosses, though! Sometimes it's manageable, like Dark Link since I had the Biggoron Sword; but usually I do terribly, like the Lizalfos in SS. Bosses are a different matter, so yeah.
I'm not really playing Zelda right now! xD I'm stuck at the Shadow Temple in OoT because the Wallmaster pulled me back to the beginning of the dungeon, and I rage-quitted rofl
omfg during the imprisoned I was really scared more than anything lmao too stressful (TIME BATTLES = NO) For some reason I really enjoyed Tentalus, and omg you hated Moldorach too??? I would look online and people would say stuff like "He's the easiest boss EVER, should be a miniboss" and I was just like.. oh... I must suck then... but seriously I don't really have trouble with the full on bosses but minibosses I always have trouble with! Stalmaster? Scervo? Bigocto from Ocarina? Darkhammer from TP? Can't do it, lmao. So makes sense I shouldn't be able to do Moldorach easily, if you can follow that XD
I've literally had nothing to do all summer but play Zelda, so now I'm on Wind Waker XD
I wasn't very good with the shield at first, so I would always die in important battles xD Though I got better at using it, even though I miss the timing sometimes (and the meter goes down). And the Hylian Shield does help a lot - you don't have to worry about it breaking, especially in the Demise battle. Oh my god the Demise battle...
Speaking of important battles, who was your favourite boss battle, and who's your least favourite?
My faves are Koloktos and Ghirahim, but not his third form; and my least faves are Moldarach and the Imprisoned. MOLDARACH ALWAYS GIVES ME TROUBLE, AND THE IMPRISONED IS JUST STUPID ;A;
... I'm glad you're alright with late replies because I'm really, really bad at replying to Vms. XD
I knoww that sounds really scary! I kind of enjoy the adventure part more than a large challenge (though no challenge = baad). Usually when I fight bosses in other games I just use my shield to block the majority of their attacks, but in SS mine would always break, the Hylian Shield was a lifesaver XD
Maybe once I feel like I need to play Skyward Sword again I'll do it, it still seems terrifying, lmao. I'm proud of youu that you could do it lol c:
Hero Mode is actually pretty fun! There's no heart drops (unless you get the Heart Medal), and enemies do double damage, but I still pulled through! I was scared of Hero Mode at first, so I copied the normal save file...
And the Hylian Shield, omg the Hylian Shield is impossible without using a Guardian Potion before taking the Lightning Round challenge. Still took me a few days to finally get the shield! xD;;
Maybe I'll try to look for TP when I get some money! I do want to try it out
/omg don't worry about late replies I only saw your reply because I didn't know what to check next on the Internet and then thought of PC
I'm really scared to do Hero Mode, so I didn't this time XD I finally beat it with a time of 52:52 which I thought was kinda cool lol. Now that I finished SS & TP I don't know what to do with my free time really, lol.
omg get TP! it's like, the best zelda game, not a lie.
Oooooh okay... Yeah Ghirahim is still pretty difficult even when you know what to do - I fought him again at Skyview Temple and I still got my butt kicked a few times before winning. It doesn't help since I was in Hero Mode ahahaha
I really want to buy Twilight Princess but I don't have any money now xD
As a younger child I actually got Zelda 2 free with the purchase of my Gameboy (lol) and I failed at that... but then I got OoT3D (I know I know, I'm a young'n) but then I became obsessed... I beat Twilight Princess and I'm thisclose to beating SS (dang you, Ghirahim and my funky Motion Plus)... I'm in the possession of a Spirit Tracks game but I haven't really gotten that far
