Alastor was an epithet of the Greek god Zeus, according to Hesychius of Alexandria and the Etymologicum Magnum, which described him as the avenger of evil deeds, specifically, familial bloodshed.

The teachers don't even care what's in the essay, as long as it ticks all the boxes. I got bored of it my senior year, so I started writing essays on pokemon and how broken the school system is. Still got those As, haha.

Exactly! Writing is a required tenth grade class, and I had Creative-damn-Writing, and in the entire class, aside from grammar and other things, we just wrote a lot of essays. Where's the creativity in that? Damn school system

And it's all about essay writing, rather than creative.

And teachers care more about what you didn't have in your writing than what you did

Which is why school is such a bad place to learn such things. Everything has to be graded, so people start worrying about their grades more than their actual writing.

I don't think that creativity can be taught per say... I mean, techniques, yeah, but the skill itself nope

I'd rather not have a doctor where everything he learned was from the internet, but for the more creative things like art and writing, school is definitely not the place to learn that.

It really seems like school was made to just keep kids off the streets for seven hours, 'cause whatever you learn in school can be learned just the same with textbooks at home

It depends on what you're going into, but yeah. The average person is never going to use a majority of stuff they learn in there.

Bruh... Trigonometry ;-; And in math they teach you a lot of stuff you really don't need in life - well, every class does that, but math mostly

Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry was the death of my math career. No designing roller coasters for me, haha.
