February 11th, 2014 9:06 AMNolafusAnd I sent you another request since you didn't reply for a couple days after I sent you that VM and I thought I didn't know you, I denied the first one...
Anyway, thanks! I don't know what kind of teacher I'll be, but I won't be one of those boring ones that make you do nothing but read and write. There has to be a few games thrown in there! -
February 10th, 2014 11:47 PMCruxAnd that's why I sent you a Friend request. :p
It takes a special type of person to actually care that much about the generations of tomorrow, man. So kudos you, keep doing what you're doing! -
January 30th, 2014 11:26 AMNolafusI want to spread my love of writing and I really enjoy reviewing and helping people improve. I'm a little uneasy about being a journalist because if I go in that direction, writing will no longer be my pass-time, but rather my job. I could end up loving it and never work a day in my life, but I don't know if I want to risk it.
If I'm a teacher, I get to help the next few generation develop a necessary skill and possibly open a few doors for them. Plus, when I was in school, all we did was essay writing. We never touched on creative writing and I feel like if even one of my teachers started teaching that, I would be a much better writer. I want to open doors to students that were never open to me and contribute a thing or two for the future. So, LA teacher sounds like a good fit. -
January 30th, 2014 10:26 AMCruxYou have the right to remain studious, anything you write can and will be graded and held against you.
A teacher?
You had better be one of the cool ones that kill flies with a blow torch. . .
In all seriousness though, I would've had you pinned as a journalist, or author. What's caused you to want to be a teacher? -
January 28th, 2014 11:28 PMNolafusI'm in for four years on multiple charges of possession of textbooks and being a nerd. :V
I'm not exactly what my major is yet. The only thing I'm sure about is my AA in creative writing. I've narrowed it down to either journalist or LA teacher, and I'm leaning more towards the latter every day. -
January 28th, 2014 7:19 PMCruxWell, what are you in for? Your major, I mean.

January 26th, 2014 11:42 PMNolafusI'm just getting tired of all the assignments. It's just one after another and I'm getting ready to be done with it despite it being my freshman year. I kind of wish I took a year off, but I guess it's a little late for that now that I'm in my second quarter.

January 26th, 2014 11:36 PMCruxWell, is it just leaving you bored in general, or is there some particular subject or aspect about it that makes it feel so uninspiring?
-
January 26th, 2014 6:55 PMNolafusI'm struggling with motivation right now. I've never been a fan of school, but my parents made me go and now I'm just getting by one day at a time.
-
January 26th, 2014 6:51 PMCruxYup.
I'm actually really back and forth about college. . . It's extremely expensive, and most of the "collegiate" material leaves me unmotivated. -
January 26th, 2014 6:36 PMNolafusPretty good. College leaves me pretty busy, but I'm managing to keep it all together.
Wait, Was your name Rococo before or something like that? -
January 26th, 2014 6:32 PMCruxAhahah, actually we have talked before. . . I don't send friend requests to just anyone, mind you!
Eh, it was a while ago though, so that's fine I guess. . .
Well, it's been pretty good, I guess.
Been keeping my head down, fists up, nose to the grindstone, and eyes on the sky.
How about you? -
January 21st, 2014 8:51 PMNolafusI don't accept friend requests from just anyone. I like to get to know them a bit before. So, how's life?
Okay, I know that's a typical conversation starter, but we have to start somewhere.
