March 21st, 2014 9:36 AMNolafusI would keep grass in the base form. I think it's the type combination that fits Serperior best, and I think Grass/Dragon would be best for Mega Serperior. This is for your Showdown project, right?

March 20th, 2014 11:53 PMFading Treethe question now is grass, grass/poison or grass/dragon in the base form?
I would agree with grass/poison if there weren't so many of them in existence. We don't want another "water curse" -
March 20th, 2014 11:21 PMNolafusI forgot about Serperior's hidden ability. I can only imagine what a Mega Grass/Dragon form with Leaf Storm and Draco Meteor. Okay, I change my mind. That's the new set.
Assault Vest could help, but Tangrowth needs its set-up moves such as Leech Seed, Synthesis, and the various powders. Plus, it needs the EVs in defense if it's going to tank those super-effective hits. Tangrowth doesn't need a huge special defense boost, just enough so that it doesn't fall so easily to special hits. -
March 20th, 2014 10:39 PMFading TreeSerpior as a Grass/Posion. When I hear talk of Serpirior most people want to make him Grass/Dragon with Contrary (Nasty Plot Leaf Storms.)
I agree that set you came up with is pretty deadly.
Breloom's HP - That is noted.
Tangrowth's special defense Raise it up to 55 ... you could raise it higher if you took some speed away from it 65 SpD, 40 Spe for a BST of 540. Then put leftovers on it, or assualt vest and tank hits like a slowbro -
March 20th, 2014 10:27 PMNolafusWell, I do like my grass types!
I'd definitely give Serperior a mega form with a higher attack stat and a secondary Poison typing. It also wouldn't hurt to give it Synthesis. Give that thing a Coil set, and it would be lethal!
I would also have to buff up Breloom's HP stat and defenses to take advantage of its stall set. It's pretty lethal as it is now, but Breloom's usefulness took a hit this gen, so this will help bring it back up.
As my third choice, I have to buff up Tangrowth's special defense. It may be able to take physical hits like no other, but special hits will have it down and out in no time. But not anymore! -
March 20th, 2014 10:13 PMFading Treehey i know you like grass pokemon if you could improve or dual type any 3 which ones would you pick and in which way would you improve it?
(I picked Sunflora, I gave it a mega form; ability drought. to easily pull of Solar Beams and Weather Balls) -
March 20th, 2014 10:03 PMNolafusI go to a community college, so I commute. I live with my parents right now because I don't have the means to move out, plus we live ten minutes away from the campus, so it would be kind of pointless to move out now.
-
March 20th, 2014 10:00 PMFading TreeYes 1984 is a book. (I like puns, and in references. And yes I was getting at that.)
Do you commute or live on campus
(authors note: I should just become an interviewer) -
March 20th, 2014 9:46 PMNolafusIsn't 1984 a book? If so, I think I've read that one. If you're referring to what my textbooks were about, they're Econ and Intro to Education textbooks, so not much to do about history. I hope that's what you were getting at, or else I just missed the ball completely.
Alright, I'll stay away from the sparkly vampires. :P -
March 20th, 2014 9:39 PMFading Treealso don't read twilight if you love your life.
-
March 20th, 2014 9:38 PMFading TreeWhat have you have been reading more about 1941, or 1984?
-
March 20th, 2014 9:36 PMNolafusI haven't read twilight, and I don't plan to. Although, it might be worthwhile just to pick it up and see what the fuss is all about. I've heard the writing isn't the best ever, and you learn from reading both good and bad writing, so it could actually help me.
I've been reading textbooks lately. Oh how I need this break. -
March 20th, 2014 9:33 PMFading TreeYou're human. @college you have to make time to enjoy things.
I hardly read books. The bulk of what I read has been manga, Kirkman, Mark Millar, Fight Club, and Stephine Brown (twilight) .. how I regret the last one. lol -
March 20th, 2014 9:23 PMNolafusAnd so appears the question I dread. :P
I don't really read much. The amount of books I've read is pitiful when compared to other people. I'll get back to you on this sometime when I've read a bit more. I'm taking a break from college once finals are over this next week, so I'll be having a lot more free time to check out books and authors. -
March 20th, 2014 9:17 PMFading TreeHey Slayr who do you mainly read?
(as of now I'm reading Robert Kirkmen)
