November 20th, 2012 6:58 PMCycloneHmm. Most of mine should turn up legit. (I know the two hacked ones I did identify myself I disposed of, so they aren't mixed in). I do know they also have the Ribbon restriction, meaning they can't verify it, and recommend battle videos (I just read the FAQ LMAO), but since certain Pokémon cannot be in such battles, it would make checking them impossible (besides, most of these have a ribbon when distributed). I mean, I can't see how I would check the Wishmaker Jirachi you sent me, as an example, since it has a Ribbon on it.
Even so, I don't think I'd have any legality issues. The only time that SHOULD happen is if I knowingly hack together a Pokémon (I still plan to re-create the Surfing Pikachu in Black, but it would trip the sensors if offered or used in a battle; geez, GF, offer another one since you forbade its' passage, will ya?). -
November 20th, 2012 6:01 PMNecrumI have level 1 creation trio also. But yeah, any amount of hacking is not allowed. You can run it through Pokecheck, and if it doesn't trip the legality analysis, it should be fine. But if it lights up red, no dice. Sorry. Feel free to ask a Moderator if you need more info.

November 20th, 2012 4:33 PMCycloneSo even that doesn't qualify? In other words, I have to get the Battle Revolution one (which supposedly can be transferred, I have no idea) or no dice? Even if I put a disclaimer explaining the circumstances (the HM removed for transfer and added back in after transfer), it would be disallowed simply on the basis it couldn't be transferred in the first place?
It seems even to get the Pokétopia Pikachu I have to have Platinum in any case. I have it, but it's sitting in my game case in the other room, so it's not a project for this evening in any case. I do know the Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina Lv.1 entries will be part of my shop - and yes, I know they're legit. ;) -
November 20th, 2012 3:55 PMNecrumJust so you know, they don't allow ANY hacks in trade corner, no matter the circumstances.

November 20th, 2012 3:38 PMCycloneNot planning travel on Friday (yet).
I have someone else who also offered after you and I might have it Wednesday, so no worries. I'll update you. After that, however, when we are able to connect, I'll still keep the offer open for that time. :)
Also, I've thought of a side project. I'm going to look for the Event Pikachu with Surf (and one I've heard of with Fly but not yet confirmed). I want them on Black as they appear in Gen. IV so will be using the move deleter to make it transferable - then use the "Teach Any TM/HM" code on Black to relearn Surf (or Fly in that case).
Yes, it'll be hacked on Black, but it's the closest you will ever get to a legit. version and will look identical. If you're interested, I can send you one for future trades. Consider it a freebie since it's actually a hack. It'll be one of the very few hacks available in my shop someday provided I can put this one together. -
November 20th, 2012 3:03 PMNecrumI will likely not be home from work at that time. How about Friday?

November 20th, 2012 2:48 PMCycloneAnd to clarify time zones, I'm an hour ahead of you. 5:48 on this msg.

November 20th, 2012 2:48 PMCycloneAt this time Thursday, I'll be finishing dinner at the arena before the hockey game at the same arena. So no good. An hour and a half earlier would be perfect. I don't want to interrupt your Thanksgiving.
As for celebrating Thanksgiving early, The Price is Right celebrated on Monday. No harm done. LMAO -
November 20th, 2012 2:42 PMNecrumMy family is doing Thanksgiving on Wednesday, because we all work in the Food business, so Thursday would be better for me. Right around this time of day would be perfect. I don't know your time zone, but here it's 4:45.
I also don't really care about the Name. -
November 20th, 2012 1:56 PMCycloneThat will give me a great chance to try out the "rename traded Pokémon" code. So no problem. :) If you'd like, I can rename "LUGIA" to "Lugia" in the event you import it to Unova (that way it matches the format used there). I might have already done it; if so, then that's that. LMAO If not, you have the option. :)
As for when, the earliest is Wednesday. What's your daytime availability? I'm going to be in town for the late afternoon, possibly longer (and earlier) if I decide to do some stuff. I'm also in town Thursday. Because of the type of connection we have, I can't trade in SoulSilver like I can in Black (sadly). -
November 20th, 2012 9:31 AMNecrumSounds good. When can you trade? Also, I think both the ones I have on gen 4 are nicknamed. Is that okay?

November 20th, 2012 9:05 AMCycloneNo worries, I have several Lugia. I actually cloned it so I could move one to Black - and may eventually move it to White 2 with the National Dex; for now, I'm only using it (White 2) for evolution trades and sending them back so they don't impact the game - and have another clone to trade for a Lv.45 Ho-oh (though if already trained a bit, I can live with that). I'll eventually get the Lv.70 Ho-oh, and may look for an untouched Lv.70 Lugia then. :) That said, I have kept the original and it's up around Lv.52 right now (and becoming more friendly with me when it's my walking legendary now).
So yes, I really don't mind giving up the clone of it exactly as it was caught, an untouched Lugia that can be EV trained. ;) Beats one that might not be EV trained as you see fit. Not that it can be used competitively in any case... -
November 20th, 2012 7:37 AMNecrumI think I have a couple of Ho-Oh in my Diamond version. If you're interested, and are really willing to offer your Lugia, I have way too many Ho-Oh and not enough Lugia. So that would be awesome.

November 3rd, 2012 6:08 PMCycloneRealized after typing it was a legitimate Emerald catch, not an event. Still, the only legitimately catchable Mew in Pokémon and a nice addition to the trade shop. :)

November 3rd, 2012 6:04 PMCycloneAlright, picks will be a Lv.100 flawless Japanese Ditto, Event Mew, and a Relaxed Keldeo. :) Heading in.
