    Oooo thank you thank you thank you - I know it was only available through dream world; I had one in B/W but I released it because it was male ;-;

I made a wager with a friend though. Which me winning involves having a hidden ability Luvdisc.

Also, HA Luvdisc isn't available in Kalos, so that might be a hard one to get so quickly.

EDIT: Just finishing that trade now, so I'll check my Bank to see if any Hydration are in there.

What's the rush on that Luvdisc? I can check my other game for it, but I am mid-trade ATM.

Mmmm - I've seen the one that actually gives you a pokemon, and lets you eliminate NFE pokemon - that one's really nice :D I think we were considering going to that one from www.random.org for a while, but I think the nostalgia just held us on our old one. :P

That's a cool little activity. You know there is a random number generator online thing, right? Just pull a number from 1-718; if you've already done that one, just generate another number.

Ooo, well thank you for explaining that, I didn't know how it weighed this gen at all. Is that method using the power save device that came out recently?

And thanks for the offer of the shiny nincada, but I think ill breed my own when I get around to that Pokemon :p once a week some friends of mine and I draw numbers 1-718 , and whichever number we get, we have to train the Pokemon that number belongs to in the national dex, barring ones we've already trained and legends. So I will eventually be training a nincada- but not yet. ^^

I will tell you this: if you ever have a Shiny traded from me, there is a very good chance it will be a clone. I like to keep untouched Shinies and use copies of them (I consider it using the clones, but it's impossible to tell the two apart). If you want to break your policy for a Shiny Nincada, I have four clones I think still available. I plan to train it finally in OR/AS and will be taking it to where it was originally caught in Emerald.

Also, the way cloning is done in X/Y is that you copy the Pokémon to your Bank using the Bank, then restore a backed up save file. Technically, BOTH Pokémon are originals; the Bank thinks the ones in there are original, and the restored savegame file thinks the original is the one in the file. So it's actually different from the older form of cloning, where you had to hold a button (say, Select) while moving Pokémon in your box, or (in Gen. IV) possibly even having garbage 'Mons who are turned into clones of the one you want to duplicate. In that case, the term "clone" carried more meaning because you physically did that. The new method seems more like two originals, just that you get the second by restoring a saved game.

(Note I'm not discussing the method involving two 3DSes. That's more risky.)

I can't have cloned pokemon though if I'm the OT on all of the ones in my PC :P Well, that or my OT name from Black / White, and Black 2 / White 2. ... Or "Plasma" or "FEB2012" for the fourth gen legends or "JAN2013" or whichever it was :P What I'm saying is, if the origins are even remotely suspect, I don't keep it. Straight up or release those mon's I do. One of my many unpleasant experiences with 4th gen, was breeding a pokemon I thought was legit I had received from a friend, only to have an egg hatch from my egg, and my game break down. :c That was pretty aggravating. I know it can't happen anymore, but I was always just not very fond of using things that weren't native and organically put into the game anywho. That's the reason I don't like the simulators online either, I like to work for and make my own projects in pokemon. That way I can have some pride in them, and know well and full where they came from.

Hohokay - my rant is over :P But basically, I just personally, as a preference, like to only use 100% legitimate mons. And while I may have used a cloned mon to breed at some point, I definitely don't still have it because I release or trade all pokemon that don't belong to me.

Your offer though - while very enticing - I'll probably only take as a last resort, because I just wouldn't feel comfortable using a pokemon like that indefinitely in a game. (I'm not saying it's wrong, or I don't think people should do it, it's fine - pretty cool actually, I just personally - myself alone, don't want to be involved with it.)

I'm accepting of ARed Gen. IV events because you can't tell them apart - technically even Gen. V. It's possible for people to say they are legit., but there is really no way to tell. (Note: there was a Shiny Eevee at Lv.50 there. It has an AR code. I've tested it and it works, but ATM any generations are still there. They get random stats like the event one did - AR lets you even check that in those games - so it's like an extension of the event.)

That's the same with cloning, too. I had only one Eevee with a 31/xx/31/31/31/31 spread and wanted to keep one in case I enter the event as well, so asked RNC to clone a couple. Since I have the nature covered by the Everstone anyway, my next bred Eevee with that spread would be identical anyway (except the specific Attack stat would differ). So, in the case of 6IVs especially, I just consider it a way of "speeding things up"; I got it once, I can get it again with or without cloning.

Shinies, on the other hand, are better for cloning. And no, you can't tell them apart, so I say there is a very good chance you could have a clone and not even know it. I have a Poké Ball Vivillon, too, but I can't fly to France; I was therefore accepting of a clone to get that one Dexed. I know it's legit. as it does not say June 4, which Power Saves I hear DOES have a hacked Wonder Card for.

Of course, in the case of the Eevee, I may breed another nature. Have to decide if I want to spend time evolving one tomorrow, then enter it for the contest.

Hmmm is there any way to tell cloned from original? I'd take an original if it had been cloned :p but all my events are ones I downloaded personally from wifi or went into stores to get. Y'know I used to actually have a toys r us mew I got from back in the day :p

I don't know any Ditto Safaris nor have any. The offer remains open, and I only clone anything special. 6IV counts as special. Shiny counts as special. Events count as special (if you have a lot of events, guarantee you have clones). I accept clones because they are no different from the original. Heck, you might even end up with the original and the other the clone. But to both of you, it's still an original.

I think my trades to you were all 5IV? No clones there.

I ammmm - 100% certain I don't have cloned mons :p unless the ones you gave me were. All my six IV's and shinies are bred and hatched by me, I don't collect those from anyone else, or hold onto the ones I recieve. I do realize now though it's kind of silly of me to expect someone to have a completely legitimate 6 IV ditto though ... So I'll probably change my request later to a 4 or 5 IV one, which is fairly common in friend safaris. Huh, well actually why not just find someone with a ditto safari... Lol
    You know anyone? :p
