October 19th, 2012 4:49 PMCourageHoundAlthough I beleive the whole legendary battle thing should be optional. Its all for fun right? And many of us catch the in-game legend for our journey. And i think as long as the challenger is ok with it, battling a half legendary team would be fine. Reminds me of when my arcanine beat my freind's Dialga...good times.

October 19th, 2012 4:46 PMCourageHoundI completely agree. Although i do enjoy competitive battling due to the stradegy aspect, it disapoints me that I cant use the pokemon I like the most; which arn't mostly viable in competitive battling. Also I can also would like to use pokemon i used in game that i didnt really EV train but did breed to have a specific abillity and nature. Like my Salamence for example. I bred it to have its dream world abillity moxie in conjunction with a naughty nature but raised it in-story for Black 2.

October 19th, 2012 4:42 PMNecrumI also think there should be a play style that allows for one Legendary Pokemon in a team. The club is based on how Kip grew up playing Pokemon, but other people may have played differently growing up. Me and my friends would agree on a number of legendary Pokemon we were allowed to use.

October 19th, 2012 4:36 PMNecrumI completely agree, it's one of the reasons I don't like Competitive battling, too much precision and choice based on how best to win. I mean, I like breeding for natures and good stats, but Pokemon should be like people, they should have strengths and weaknesses. Personally, I think PG is a little bit on the strict side. No competitively trained Pokemon covers a wide range that really bothers me. Just because I raised a Pokemon I bred to have a certain nature and egg move should not exclude him, although I will admit that strict EV training should still not be allowed. But I still spent a lot of time on said bred Pokemon before I even knew about Competitive, and from what I can tell it wouldn't be allowed.

October 19th, 2012 4:29 PMCourageHoundYup. Based on what pokemon people use sometimes you can infer some of the qualities or likes of that person. Or, at least thats what I think. Thats why I like that theres so many pokemon.

October 19th, 2012 4:25 PMNecrumOh...! I was just checking out your profile because I saw you joined the PG Battler's Club. I rather liked your opinion about knowing more about a person based on the Pokemon they use.
