You could. :) I just chose DigiPen because of their awards for the quality of students they produce as well as their connections with big name companies like Nintendo, Sony, Blizzard, etc. DigiPen students have worked on games such as Portal and Portal 2 as well as the Black Ops game that came out recently.

Seems like they are very serious about that. I could also go at Phoenix or Massachusetts.

    Some advice:

Request your information packet early. (Like in Sept - Dec of the previous year you want to attend. So if you want to attend fall of 2015 request your packet in Sept - Dec of 2014). The application takes a lot of work. There are 4 required essays for the Bachelor's of Arts in Game Design (BAGD) and also for the Bachelor's of Science in Game Design (BASG) //science is the programming side. As well as letters of recommendation and so on.

Work on the required application and get it sent in BEFORE Jan 1st. It takes them anywhere between 2 - 4 weeks (unless they send an email) to know if you are accepted. The goal is to be accepted BEFORE Feb 1st so you are automatically put in for the scholarship they offer.

Make sure to have a minimum of $200 saved up BEFORE you apply. There is a $45 application fee and a $150 enrollment fee.

These should help a lot. I wish I would've known these when I applied. OH! And don't get discouraged if you aren't accepted the first time. I was denied the first time. They work on rolling applications so if you are denied the first time you can turn around and reapply again as long as their are open spots remaining. :)

It changes depending on certain factors like the degree you are in, supplies, food (they have a café), housing, parking, etc.

But on average I would have to say it is around $33,000 a year minus scholarships, grants, etc.

It is amazing. You would think that with all the geniuses out there that they would figure out a simpler way of doing it. :P

I am currently learning the basics of C, it's amazing how it takes 7 lines of code to just write the letter "c" on the Windows console. That would kill ya :D
    Thanks! :)

See now I am the opposite of you. I suck a math so I wouldn't do well in the programming side. Besides I do have some experience with similar programming (JavaScript) and it drove me nuts XP

That is awesome! I'm sure you can learn both :)
