April 23rd, 2011 1:49 AMArcherEh, it's just that the Maths and Physics aren't enjoyable. I used to love them, but now it's just... I can do them, but I don't like it.
I need to do a course that I have some passion for, IMO.
That's Engineering, btw. -
April 22nd, 2011 5:22 AMCaptain FabioUni. PC. Sleep. Repeat! XD
And how come? D: -
April 22nd, 2011 4:31 AMArcherUni. Work. Uni. Sleep. You get the idea. Not sure I picked the right course...
You? -
April 21st, 2011 1:20 AMCaptain FabioCheers buddy! Where have you been? It has been a while.

February 10th, 2011 1:17 PMArcher1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo and 2 GB ram? Because that's what the proper specs should be.
It all depends on what else you were running in the background, which is what usually slows a system down.
Not to mention Vista is more secure, Better for gaming and properly optimised for newer hardware (64bit, etc)
What AV were you running? -
February 10th, 2011 6:00 AMCaptain FabioWell, I did just have the SP1, so that might be why. But it was running on a fairly up-to-date spec laptop, so I can't think of any reasons why it wouldn't be working correctly...
-
February 10th, 2011 5:09 AMArcherWhat were you running it on? Because if the computer was old or underspecced, you can hardly blame it. Vista SP2 is pretty much the same as Seven underneath.
It was a little problematic before the first Service Pack, but ever since then, most problems are pebkac. -
February 10th, 2011 5:04 AMCaptain FabioIOh come on! XD
I wouldn't use Vista over XP. When I had Vista, it gave me nothing but problems and it just ran EVERYTHING slowly and memory went out the window! XD -
February 10th, 2011 5:02 AMArcherVista is a great OS. I would use it over XP anyday. It's just the way it loads the chipset drivers during startup. Vista generally only freaks with huge platform changes, such as 478 to 1366 or Intel to AMD.

February 10th, 2011 4:55 AMCaptain FabioWhen isn't Vista patchy! XDOriginally Posted by Archer [ Original Post ]Vista could be patchy and XP will probably die.

February 8th, 2011 3:09 PMCaptain FabioAhh it is fine thanks mate. Was just wondering is all :3
-
February 8th, 2011 2:52 PMArcherI'd like to help you (if you were asking for it), but I really don't know much aside from the basic meanings of those terms.
I am starting an engineering degree in a few weeks, though. -
February 8th, 2011 8:48 AMCaptain FabioGuess you don't know anything about that? XDOriginally Posted by Captain Fabio [ Original Post ]What do people know about terrain generation?
I am doing a report about it for University and I have, so far:
Perlin Noise
Height Maps
Pre-Build Terrain
High-Level Shading Language
Mesh Creation
Fractal Terrain
Anyone know of any other ways to generate terrain? -
January 14th, 2011 4:19 AMCaptain FabioYah, I know. That is why I am going to get everything check and sorted before the warranty runs our in over 2 years! Haha.
