I don't actually LIKE ASM. I prefer scripting, because it's simple and easy to understand. Thus, I'm going searching for a free one, mostly because I don't have money to spend on this.

Well, no$gba debugger is the best and it is only $8 (I think). It is 1000% guaranteed to be your best rom hacking purchase if you stick with ASM.

You're welcome. I would look at it with some type of ASM debugger. Though, the good ones, are not free. I can't help you get those.

The table points directly to the routines for each special in order starting with special 0x0. It is pretty simple:p.

lol I have no idea how to use that table. I'm to tired to keep thinking, too. Imma hit the sack soon.

I can't find the table that you said was in JPAN's notes.

GF must have decided against the second script and gotten rid of it. OR you didn't hit the level script button in XSE.

something confuzzles me about the union room as well.
This is its second map script:

    #org 0x1604BB

    appears to do absolutely nothing.

I see, that sounds tough. You will need to get a lot better at ASM. I can tell you that JPAN found the table (i believe it is in his notes that came with the hacked engine v1.0) of all special routines. So, you wouldn't need ASM to find it, but to edit it, deffinately.

I only know basic ASM (surprisingly not going to be enough), and I was trying to put in an underground in Gen 3. Capture the flag, synced characters, and mining. I'm not going to stop trying till i get it tho.
For this particular thing, I want to edit the Union Room to transmit the current location of the character.

If you don't know ASM. You're done. Why do you want to anyway?
