September 11th, 2009 2:14 PMLashWell, Felgrand Dragon still looks cool :(
I will make a card to counter Snake Rain called SNAKES ON A PLANE. SOAP is activated whenever one or more Reptile monster(s) is destroyed, straight from the deck. When this occurs, special summon as many reptile monsters possible to your side of the field and destroy all cards on your opponents side of the field. None of your reptile monsters can attack this turn. They may attack if "Samuel L. Jackson" is present in your hand or graveyard.
Epic card LOL -
September 11th, 2009 12:12 PMGymnotideI don't really like Tyrant Dragon / anything from that rebirth Dragon deck. I don't really like the playstyle, so I just go with fusions :P
zomg Snake Rain'd. -
September 11th, 2009 7:22 AMLashI will get to it with an awesome present.
Ah. Well, he still had some other cool special summoning combos to get Tyrant Dragon out. He managed to get 3 out on his second turn.
And, I posted in your thread before posting in here, lol. -
September 11th, 2009 3:10 AMGymnotideI hope you wrote in my thread >: |
Woodland Sprite + Butterfly Dagger don't work because Sprite says "send 1 Equip Spell" and Butterfly Dagger says "when this card is equipped to a monster, destroyed, and sent to the Graveyard." The important word is "destroyed." Woodland Sprite actually does zero destruction.
edit I thought I posted this hours ago... -
September 10th, 2009 2:05 PMLashlol, I had no idea it was your birthday yesterday.
Today I got my ass whooped in school my homeboy who used a Tyrant Dragon deck that totally screwed me over. He also had some Woodland Sprite +Butterfly Dagger Elma combo. I seriously need a Tyrant Dragon/TD deck, lol. It's pretty cool. -

To get more advanced, get a full Synchro deck and add "Rose, Warrior of Revenge," "Jutte Fighter," or use "Junk Synchron." If you use Junk Synchron, you need to swap out a lot of the higher level cards for 2-starred monsters like Speed Warrior.
For this change, you should remove D. D. Warrior (D. D. Warrior Lady is better :D), Warrior Lady of the Wasteland, or Obnoxious Celtic Guard.
Spells: 12
Nobleman of Crossout
The Warrior Returning Alive
Reinforcement of the Army (you can only use one)
Monster Reborn

Sakuretsu Armor (swapped out in favor for Mirror Force).
Mirror Force -
September 6th, 2009 10:31 AMLashAh. Now I know, and knowing... Well, in YGO, it's literally all the battle.
Hell, I did a little bit of math with a couple estimations for the cards on opp's field/hand, and it was about 6500 points of damage, though I'm sure it can do more than just that.
edit: Hey, I reconstructed my Warrior deck. Take a look if you fancy it.
Spoiler:
Cards with a * next to them are ones I'm considering removing.

September 5th, 2009 6:27 PMGymnotideEh, you don't make a deck just to target Synchros. You can splash Shiny Black C into decks that run Koaki Meiru Gravirose, for example... And it will do just fine in there.
Uh, my craziest chain was in my chain strike deck OTK. It was like Ceasefire, Fire Darts, Secret Barrel, Poison of the Old Man, Chain Strike... -
September 5th, 2009 7:18 AMLashI'm pretty sure all a Synchro Crush Deck needs is 3 Shiny Black C's and some card that will help bring it back into play and back in the graveyard.
Hey, so, what's the craziest chain you've ever seen/done?
Here's one that happened just last night when I was dueling with one of my few friends who actually plays fairly:
I activate Dragon's Mirror in an attempt to summon B. Skull Dragon.
Dragon's Mirror > opponents Magic Jammer > my Counter Counter > opponents Trap Jammer > my 2nd Counter Counter.
He gave me his two Counter Counter's because he thought they were useless cards, lol. -
September 4th, 2009 11:24 PMGymnotideShiny Black C is ridiculously easy to get into the grave. It crushes any deck that relies on Synchros.
-
September 4th, 2009 10:57 PMLashI know not to use De-Spell, I just couldn't think up of another card at the moment, lol. Twister looks pretty cool, but luckily we got Heavy Storm for the facedowns.
Breaker = win.
That's what I was thinking. Like you said, it's a card that can easily be knocked over now a days, cards to help protect it and the tuner would probably help. Like Interdimensional Matter Transporter. Decent card, but what are the chances that that'll be face down with the opponent has Shiny Black C in the grave?
Ya definitely got me thinking right there. A swift win with it on the turn its summoned, even if it survives some effect, is highly unlikely. Probably wouldn't be worth it to just lose in the next turn. -
September 4th, 2009 1:40 PMGymnotideDon't use De-Spell; Continuous/Equip/Persisting Spell Cards aren't all that common. You're better off using Twister (but it can only target face-up cards). Either of the cards are still messed up by Dark Bribe, Magic Drain, Solemn Judgement, Pollinosis, Mind Over Matter, Breaker the Magical Warrior, and like a thousand other cards used commonly in the meta.
Also interesting idea with DNA Surgery, but I'd be reluctant to base my entire Synchro deck on a trap card that's easily negated nowadays anyway. Also remember that for Trident Dragion's maximal effect, you have to have a very strict field -- your opponent needs to have zero Spell/Trap, no Kuriboh in their Hand, no Necro Gardna or Shiny Black C in the Graveyard, no Doomcaliber Knight or Thunder King Rai-Oh on the field, no Barrier Statue or Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo on the field (applies to you as well, actually), their monster(s) must have fewer than 1000 ATK, you must control at least two cards after Synchro Summoning, etc. Of course, Trident Dragion also boasts 3000 ATK, but he loses his effect alter turn 1.
tbh, I think the best way to get him out is to use Debris on a 6-starred Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. Brionac is easy to get out and Debris will bring up a 500 ATK monster to help our Dragion's effect... Only thing is that Brionac is limited to 1. -
September 4th, 2009 7:42 AMLashYes, lol. I'd sure as hell use The Dark Door if I'm getting my ass kicked, or Gravekeeper's Servant to Monster Reborn if he decides to attack. Though, they would easily be outdone by Mystical Space Typhoon/De-Spell/Heavy Storm.
---
DNA Surgery could work on the other Tuner's, I'm sure. -
September 3rd, 2009 8:55 PMGymnotideThat's a terrible combo lol. Why would you want to slow your opponent's attacks if their attacks will activate their card? It's called Gravekeeper's Servant btw.
- - - - -
Trident Dragion is a terrible 10-star though. There are a few Dragon-type tuners, like Magna Dragon (2-star), White Stone of Legend (1 star) and Debris Dragon (4-star, but I don't remember if it can make it). -
September 3rd, 2009 6:37 PMLashTrue, I guess Synchro adds a whole new level of thinking to the game.
But, that Tempest Magician card sounds interesting... But, of course, Dragion as my undivided attention. 9000 Attack in one turn... Wow. Dragon Synchro, ftw, seriously. What Dragon Tuner monsters are there?
-
I will. He had some combo on his side of the field that duel:
The Dark Door
Some card... I can't remember the name of it, but when the opponent attacks, they discard the top card from the deck.
And he complained about how slow the duel was going.
