April 22nd, 2013 7:17 AMNottinghamWow, I didn't know people still knew about BB! I discovered them one day when I was buying Linkin Park music and it said, "If you liked Linkin Park, you may also like Breaking Benjamin"
A lot of their stuff can sound the same, but I still like them a lot. They're the bee's knees.
Especially Bon Jovi, I actually met the band a couple of times and they're really cool people. It's just a shame about his daughter, hope nothing like that happens again.
Eminem is my homeskillet. Have you ever seen him in 8 Mile? Rapping never roused chills like that out of me in like...ever. -
April 22nd, 2013 2:43 AMBraveNewWorldYeah, North Korea needs to cool their [email protected]
I listen to a lot of different music. Mainly rock and rap. If I had to pick I favorite band, I'd probably go with Breaking Benjamin or Bon Jovi. If I had to pick a favorite rapper, I'd probably go with Immortal Technique or Eminem. -
April 21st, 2013 9:17 PMNottinghamOhh I've seen both of those in the Hot Manga section on Manga Here a lot lately.
Good for Korea; they've got hit musical sensations and apparently cool manga series. If only they could sort out that noisy neighbor problem...
Speaking of music, what do you listen to? -
April 20th, 2013 7:55 AMBraveNewWorldNoblesse and Tower of God are both Korean.
I found a nice list of series.

April 19th, 2013 5:39 PMNottinghamYou know what, good. I am genuinely happy they'll still thrive on their industry since Hershey and M&Ms are the only ones I'm supporting.
Gee, that sounded borderline Grumpy Cat...I was being earnest though.
Same! That, and it would've been nice seeing him actually pick a girl, though I guess you could say Kyoko was implied at the end there.
Really? I actually wasn't even aware Korea had its own manga. There any other series from there I may have heard about? -
April 19th, 2013 1:17 PMBraveNewWorldI love Kit-Kat bars!
Reborn being majorly rushed is an understatement. I really wish we could have seen him accept his duties as the head.
Actually Breaker is a Korean manhwa. Which sucks because it will probably never get animated, unless it's fan made. -
April 19th, 2013 11:26 AMNottinghamI'm 55 chapters in right now and it's been pretty okay so far, nothing gourmet, but not crummy Kit Kat either (I'm probably the only guy I know who can't get into Kit Kat bars). Reborn was a real damn shame though, because the last arc was my favorite up until the majorly rushed ending.
I will take your word for it sir, I'm guessing Breaker's in the same magazine as Kenichi and Fairy Tail. You read those? -
April 19th, 2013 10:17 AMBraveNewWorldI personally thought Cage of Eden got worse, but others may thing differently. It is kinda like Reborn, where its popularity dwindles and it gets [email protected]
I'd highly recommend The Breaker. New chapters come out on Friday's, but there isn't one, at least yet, today. :( -
April 19th, 2013 8:36 AMNottinghamAh, so it gets a little stupid later on? I saw that it had one of those canned endings (Reborn...), so I expected something like that. Oh well, my completionist nature has striven me forward through murkier muds of mediocrity before, I'll do it again...
Flashbacks are usually harder for me to enjoy as well, but One Piece has a habit of tugging on your heartstrings for each one. I mean, look at Nami. That is one messed up backstory; what if all the pretty strippers at the clubs have tragic pasts like that? It almost makes me want to take them into my crew to save them...to protect them and that stuff, not what you're thinking.
But right, Fullbring was alright I suppose. I just think it was longer than it needed to be, or I think it could've been combined with the current arc.
But that's okay, I like dialogue! Heck, dialogue's the main thing I look for in a series. If your dialogue stands out to me, you're just about good in my book. Maybe I'll just check out Breaker after I finish Eden.
And college finals.
Those pesky priorities of mine. -
April 19th, 2013 4:21 AMBraveNewWorldI stopped reading Cage of Eden towards the end. A lot of what the characters did to combat the other humans just seemed really stupid to me.
I liked the Full Bring arc, up until the shinigami showed up outta nowhere. I usually hate flashbacks, but I love the current one in Bleach. The only other flashback I can say I like is the Sabo one in One Piece.
The Breaker and The Breaker: New Waves are awesome. Some people complain because it gets kinda slow and dialogue heavy at times, especially in New Waves. You get to see everything the main character goes through, though, and I like that. It makes it easier to connect and root for him. -
April 18th, 2013 10:07 PMNottinghamBeelzebub's pretty awesome, I'm liking the current arc in the manga a lot. And now Yusuke's Oga's gonna give Kurama Himekawa some new powers and it'll all be copacetic.
And wow, you're liking Bleach? Most people I know got really tired of it after Aizen, though I personally have mixed feelings. I think this flashback with Isshin is good so far though, and Kubo's even going easy on the ink!
The Breaker is something I still need to get off my backburner, right now I'm reading Cage of Eden and that's okay I guess. -
April 18th, 2013 8:16 PMBraveNewWorldMy likes are pretty mainstream, too. I'd probably put Beelzebub at the top of my manga list. One Piece would probably be second. I used to really like Naruto. I still read it, because I enjoy it, but I haven't liked where the story has gone. The recent chapters with the Hokages have been pretty interesting, though. I also really like Bleach. It's gotten very good since Aizen was defeated.
I'm a big fan of The Breaker manhwa, that's where my avatar came from. -
April 18th, 2013 7:59 PMNottinghamYessir I do! And that would be Dragon Ball Z and Naruto, in that order. To say my tastes are mainstream would be a greater understatement then saying the new Mewtwo looks like Majin Buu.

April 18th, 2013 7:32 PMBraveNewWorldDo you read it online so you're all caught up? I don't want to accidentally spoil anything for you! What are the two manga you like more than it?

April 18th, 2013 7:29 PMNottinghamIt's always darkest before the dawn, Master Wayne.
And heck yeah I do. It's my 3rd favorite manga and objectively the best one I've ever read!
