August 3rd, 2013 12:15 PMStarlight SpriteFerrets are rather high maintenance animals that require a lot of attention or they'll get bored easily and make a huge mess. You also need to clean their cage and any area you let them play in regularly to get rid of the distinctive odor. Though from that statement I can understand why you're not into dogs, and that's okay.
They're not for everyone. As far as low maintenance animals go, there's plenty available outside of (some) cats. Fish are fairly easy to care for and can add some color to a room, but don't expect them to offer you affection. If you've ever thought a getting a bearded dragon, they don't require constant interaction, though my Lizzie can be fun to play with. They require a weekly cleaning of their cage and a varied diet of plant and animal material. If you don't mind feeding your pets live food, some reptiles can be very engaging. -
August 3rd, 2013 11:32 AMSheepAwww.. annoying little buggers! I wonder if they'd be the kind of pet someone like me would like. I love peace and quiet and animals that are low-maintenance..

August 3rd, 2013 7:37 AMStarlight SpriteYeah, they have a knack for jumping out of your arms and then slipping inside a tiny space (they're even better at this than cats) where you have to lure them out with food. Many of them also don't like anyone except their owners, meaning they'll bite and scratch. They can be a fun companion for the right person, but that's not me.
Even my bearded dragon is better behaved. Actually, she's great with people. -
August 3rd, 2013 7:18 AMSheepA-Aww.... I love ferrets and would love one some day. ;~; Had no clue they were stinky haha. They're hard to handle? :(
-
August 3rd, 2013 7:13 AMStarlight SpriteI love them both.
I'm a veterinary nurse, so I work with all kinds of animals on a regular basis and I'm used to them all. The only animals that I don't like (but I can still deal with them) are ferrets because they're stinky and some can be nasty. -
August 3rd, 2013 7:08 AMSheepAwww. D: We've had a lot of cats growing up, I always preferred them over dogs. Not a big dog fan at all... go kitties!
-
August 2nd, 2013 2:19 PMStarlight SpriteI know what you mean! Rex is pretty cute and well behaved though. Most of the time anyway.
he's actually my first cat since my dad is allergic so we couldn't have them growing up. I'm very used to dogs though since we always had one or two. I'm glad Rexie acts the way he does- it's less to get used to. -
August 2nd, 2013 1:51 PMSheepAww, sounds adorable! n~~n I really love kitties. Too bad they can't stay innocent kittens forever XD
-
August 2nd, 2013 8:21 AMStarlight SpriteMy cat is strictly indoors, but he's not independent in the slightest and is always following my fiancé and me around. He thinks he's a dog or something with the way he acts.

August 2nd, 2013 7:33 AMSheepAwww, adorable. :3 My cat is outside a lot but when he's home he loooves attention.
-
August 1st, 2013 6:04 PMStarlight SpriteWell you know MU's backstory then, and thus you know what Lucina does and how she feels about killing her mother.
That scene really brought me to tears.
And oh, hey! My cat decided to jump into my lap and demand a belly rub. He's very attention seeking, so it's a little hard to type.

August 1st, 2013 5:58 PMSheepI beat the game twice and pair Chrom with MU every time :3 Can't pair Chrom with anyone else. So I might've seen it! You can spoil anyway, I don't mind~
-
August 1st, 2013 5:57 PMStarlight SpriteYeah, a female MU can be crazy strong, especially if you pair with Chrom like I did. There's also a VERY touching scene with that pairing which I won't spoil for you, but it made me cry. I've never done a play with a male MU, though I might next time.

-
August 1st, 2013 5:46 PMSheepI've never played any of the older FE games so I'm sort of out of the loop :< I did love having a feMU though, don't think I could ever switch to a male!

August 1st, 2013 4:38 PMStarlight SpriteYeah, they made sure to pull all the stops with Awakening (except for having light magic, but no big deal). I love Gaius a lot too. He's one of the funniest video game characters I've seen in a while.
Chrom is good, but I find him overshadowed by his daughter, though that happens with the first generation characters. He's a lot better than some of the older Lords in the series though. Many were dead weight that the game forced you to bring into battle, though there's exceptions like Ike and Hector.
