October 17th, 2009 8:46 PM>Feelings<Probably... But according to a lot of people, Gimp's interface is hard to figure out. That means Photoshop must be easier?
Yeah... I get it...
Lol. -
October 17th, 2009 8:46 AMGuyGimp is easier to use, that is for sure.
Yes, Gimp comes free with PS comes in the "not-so-cheap" way unless you cheat for it. xD
Anytime. ;) -
October 15th, 2009 8:42 PM>Feelings<Yeah, I saw a few comparisons already. From what I saw, only some people with opinions think that Gimp is better that Photoshop in some ways.
But in actual logical comparison, Photoshop is better than Gimp in every single way - yup... The only drawback of Photoshop compared to Gimp is its high price tag...
Gimp can't even use a lot of patented technologies directly, like the CMYK pallete, and other things, and Gimp's interface is tough to figure - from what I heard.
Thank you! I really need that, XD! -
October 15th, 2009 8:03 AMGuyI'm sure there is one to find easily.
Thank you, and same to you for your future plans as well.
Alright, that's cool. -
October 15th, 2009 7:42 AM>Feelings<Yeah, that's exactly what I had in mind... Gimp and Photoshop comparison, yeah...
I wish you the best of luck! :)
Uh, you're asking me what my education level is? If that is so, I'm sorry, but I'm not comfortable about telling that, lol. -
October 15th, 2009 7:37 AMGuyA simple google search on their comparisons should be enough.
Yeah, when I graduate next year Spring it'll be my next big move.
What about you? -
October 15th, 2009 7:35 AM>Feelings<Really? I wonder what they could be. I should find out.
Hmm... You're 17, right? Isn't it almost about time for such a move?
Lol, XD... Maybe... -
October 15th, 2009 7:28 AMGuyWell Gimp has some things that Photoshop doesn't, but Photoshop offers a whole lot more.
Yes, I am either thinking of out of state in California, or right here in Florida, UF.
That's alright, we learn something new everyday. -
October 15th, 2009 7:26 AM>Feelings<Is is actually better than Photoshop in any aspect, or is Photoshop better in every single way?
Yeah, that you can do. Are you planning of joining any college?
Oh, I get it now. I didn't know much about its acceptance. -
October 14th, 2009 9:38 AMGuyWell, it has its ups and downs.
I can still go to college after homeschooling though. xD
It is recognized as any other school would do. -
October 14th, 2009 1:56 AM>Feelings<Yeah, Gimp is really good too, I heard.
Oh...
Not that... I meant that will you not have a tough time getting accepted into corporate jobs or high salary jobs? Wouldn't they want to see a certificate from a reputed College/University?
What would you do then? Where would you get a certificate? And how much does the tests you give get recognised internationally? -
October 13th, 2009 6:32 AMGuyAlright cool, by the mean time I'll continue it out with Gimp.
Exams I take at home on my computer, and I can use my notes.
Do you mean what difficulties I will face socially? -
October 11th, 2009 10:45 PM>Feelings<Okay, can you please wait for some time (might take long) while I make a solution to the Photoshop matter? I'll tell you if I ever get something about it, okay?
That's cool in a way... Specially the natural part of it being at home, and the different part of it being online.
Don't take this the wrong way, but... will you not face any kind of difficulties when you actually go for a corporate job after you're finished? Where do you sit for your exams from anyways? -
October 11th, 2009 7:18 AMGuyCS4 would be nice, but CS3 is just as good and I don't always need to the best to do something good. Though, if you really haven't shared your Serial Code with anyone and are willing to share it with me so I can have Photoshop, then I would gladly appreciate it. It would help me improve a lot with my banners, icons, etc.
I do it online on a site called FLVS. It is pretty easy since we are allowed access to our notes in exams, orals, etc. We have usually 6-8 modules with individual lessons to complete in each one depending on the subject. It is just like a natural school really, but at home and online. -
October 10th, 2009 2:00 AM>Feelings<Since CS4 is out already, why don't you get that one?
I can help with anything, as long as you want me to.
Go one, tell me about it. I really don't know much about this subject, so why don't you explain to me how this whole thing works and all?
