December 29th, 2018 2:20 AMHomeskulled KidOh, does she have schizophrenia? I thought she just had Asperger syndrome or something, lmao. Another very interesting condition. I went on a Wikipedia romp the other month and it's bloody fascinating stuff.
I'm sure there is an underlying quality which is always present in my characters, but I can't bloody figure it out. It sort of clots them together, though, so my protagonists don't tend to vary too dramatically. Got to work on that. -
December 29th, 2018 2:15 AMstarseed galaxy auticornYeah. I watched it again recently on Hulu. It's a great portrayal for Schizophrenia. It gave me ideas to write a character with autism and schizophrenia. I'm used to writing autistic characters, so I wanted that to be a thing as well. ><

December 29th, 2018 2:12 AMHomeskulled KidNice. Friends, eh. I have a really great one named Mark but neither of us do social networking and he doesn't have an account on here. A bloody shame.
Benny and Joon! I saw that! Not all of it, but a decent amount and I liked it muchly. Rich with 90's vibes, and Johnny Depp always makes for a great oddity. I'd quite like a re-watch, actually. I love films with strange characters - there is no intrigue in normalcy. That was way back in 2015, though, so I hardly remember a thing. -
December 29th, 2018 2:09 AMstarseed galaxy auticornYeah. Rika cheered me up, and the Tyler said something really funny... so that cheered me up. <3 Tyler said "hiply" cow instead of "holy" cow. :P I love my friends~ I'm trying to make my character somewhat like Joon from Benny & Joon, which is a VERY good movie! It's very cute because it has a young Johnny Depp in it. *____*

December 29th, 2018 2:05 AMHomeskulled KidThat's absolute rubbish. But definitely don't let trash get to you - anyone who disses you ain't worth listening to. Ah yeah. If it isn't constructive criticism then ears should go off, I say.
I want to do a schizophrenic character too, but also inject some realism into it. Wouldn't want to just role with the 'oh my god that lamp knows my name' shtick because it's such an incredible disorder with so much material. But keep trying. Trial and error is what progress is all about. -
December 29th, 2018 1:39 AMstarseed galaxy auticornNot a whole lot... kind of dealt with someone who started making fun of me in the PC server, but they're banned now. I'm trying to write a character that has Schizophrenia and autism... and I don't know what the hell I'm doing. ;o;

December 29th, 2018 1:06 AMHomeskulled KidI slept in 'til four the other day, so I sympathise.
For a while I was on antibiotics and I butchered the schedule so badly, lmao. Missed a week. Accidentally took three in a day. Lost the packet. Found it two days later. Took five. So yes, I'm rubbish with medication of any sort.
So wassup? -
December 28th, 2018 10:43 AMstarseed galaxy auticornI'll keep it in mind. XD Ugh... I slept in until eleven, and my entire routine is psyducked. ;o; I take meds, so they have t be taken BEFORE eleven. I took them anyway though because I have to.

December 28th, 2018 12:04 AMHomeskulled KidIt's certainly worth watching!
I didn't really care for Mina. Not sure why. And this must be a historic memory from childhood, but I know for a fact that paint in one's hair makes for trauma supreme. Don't even get me started on cereal. Or Velcro sport paddles.
Cool. I've been meaning to do an LGBT story but lord, it's ruddy embarrassing when you have the threat of unscheduled readers.
But if you ever need some face claims/templates, I've got a bundle. My own private, glorious bundle, but I can spare one or two. They've all got unique faces, or at least in my opinion, and no shortage of material. Gifs and images galore. -
December 27th, 2018 4:16 AMstarseed galaxy auticornI've been wanting to watch Clone Wars for a long time tbh! I think my favorite was the painter girl... I forget her name now. >< Oh, her name is Mina! I really like her style, and she's so mellow and what not.
Spoiler:
I'm thinking of using Jordan in an LGBT story where he falls for another guy. I mean, he's bisexual but... yeah. -
December 27th, 2018 3:55 AMHomeskulled KidIlma was my favourite island master/dude/thingy/champ or whatever from those games. Very preppy, and pink hair is nothing to sneeze at.
Haven't had many chances to see cartoons lately. Love Airbender, though, and I watched a lot of The Clone Wars last year. Quality shows, both of them. I recommend Clone Wars to any Star Wars fan because it's thrilling, has an interesting art style and has some brilliant fights. And it sheds some light on Luminara Unduli, who is a pretty great character. Love her accent and fighting style. -
December 27th, 2018 3:45 AMstarseed galaxy auticornThat's like Ilma from Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon. He's a guy, but he looks like a girl. At first glance, I actually thought he WAS a girl. I'm pretty sure he's gender fluid or something. Yeah, it was Arthur. I liked that too... it was cute! I've never heard of Oggy. As I got older, I moved onto stuff like Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Ducktales (the reboot is awesome btw), Talespin and Darkwing Duck. XD

December 27th, 2018 3:41 AMHomeskulled KidAnd Fairly Odd Parents, right? That show was a hoot. But glad to see we've got the same tastes in cartoons.
For about a year on my life, I was watching cartoons on the television every day for hours. It was the only thing to do. Sadly, the broadcasts weren't quality. None of the classics that we were talking about. But It had a show called Oggy and The Cockroaches which was good fun, and that one with the aardvark... is it called Arthur? That used to be my favourite. A real 90's gem. And apparently Oggy was gender fluid, or something? He kept changing! One minute he was being a dude cat and slinging his arm mannishly around his friend, and the next minute he was wearing an apron and getting smooched. Now I know who to blame for my flaming gender fluidity! It's not all it's cracked up to be, lmao. -
December 27th, 2018 3:34 AMstarseed galaxy auticornYeah. I also like the older Spongebob episodes. Now, they've been getting overly carried away with it. D: It'll probably get worse now that Stephen Hillenburg has died. I liked Lilo & Stitch as well as Kim Possible. I was raised throughout the 90s because I was born in '88 and what not. So, I grew up with Sesame Street and Shining Time Station during toddlerhood. <3

December 27th, 2018 3:30 AMHomeskulled KidWell, he's cool nonetheless.
It's a nifty subculture. It sort of makes an eyebrow piercing sound like a tempting notion, but then you'd get home and people would gasp you into guiltdeath, so that's not going to happen, lmao.
I remember the Rugrats! That used to be one of my favourite shows, though admittedly I haven't seen it since I was... five? Yeah, a bloody long time ago. Lilo & Stitch, also, and Kim Possible and Grossology. Anything remotely like them. I miss cartoons and prefer them infinitely to anime.
