I don't know. :< Glad I'm not the only one who thinks it is wrong. I don't know if it's the way he was raised or what, but he thinks he can just go to work (not even 40 hours a week) and then come home and do whatever he wants, he never sacrifices his time to spend with his kid. :< I feel like our cat makes more of an effort to make time for us, but ehhh. I get lonely at times but that is what PC is for. ^___^ And my kid has me at least, I just worry later on he'll wonder why his dad doesn't want to spend time with him.

And he isn't even trying to make up for it?
I'm sorry to tell you that but that man is just an awful father. What kind of guy wouldn't want to spend as much time as possible with his kid?

My son has gotten to the point where he doesn't even want his dad to mess with him, breaks my heart. :(

Suppose so. :( He swears up and down he plays with him "all of the time" but I'm with my son 24/7 except the rare occasion he goes to headstart, and he rarely even looks at him. :/

    Totally!
O.o he prefers staying on the laptop than interacting with his own son?

Yeah, I know it will all be worth it in the end. <3
Psh, more like busy with laptops/games/tv. He does go to work but when home he is on the laptop, then stays up all night on the laptop and then sleeps all day. Frustrating. >_<

I must say that they're cute when they sleep. His dad doesn't pay attention most of the time? Busy with work?
Well in a few years, every struggle will be worth it so don't give up!

It is hard. I have a difficult child, but I love him. (not difficult as in bad) No matter how hard he ever makes my day, I still melt when I look at his sleeping face or when he is hugging me. He really only has me mostly as an emotional support (not much interaction from my family, they love him but don't try too hard, I think because I visit too much) And even though his dad lives with us, he can't be bothered to pay much attention to him the majority of the time. So it's pretty hard, but the little sweet boy is worth every struggle. <3

Thanks. Not sure where I first heard it, but I've always loved the name. Some people think it's an evil name because of that movie "The Omen" about the antichrist...buuut it's just a movie to me and I love the name, so pooey on them.

Haha, you just deal with it because you love them. :) It's a lot more annoying when it's not your own child, trust me, but you have a while to worry about that. :)

That's the catch, she isn't sweet at all. Oh man, how am I supposed to get a child of my own then?

Haha, she sounds sweet. :P Many 2 year olds are an abomination, it's supposed to be one of the most difficult younger ages to deal with. xD
