July 24th, 2014 6:03 PMBelldandyThat just sounds absurd lol judging at the age of ten. In Canada, judging at seventeen (Grade 12) is already viewed as too early.

July 24th, 2014 6:01 PMMaoMintThe problem with me is that I have been to school in three different countries. :'')
The one I am most familiar with is the german one though being;
Kindergarden until around age 6
Primary school year 1-4
Then it get's tricky - there are various forms which you can follow..
Haupt -> year 5-9
or
Real -> year 5-10
or
Gynmasium -> year 5-12
after that one is pretty much done with graduation and the ones from Gymnasium can study if they wish.
Personally I think that the German school system is very bad. I mean when the kids are around 10 years old (year 4) they get sorted into bad, middle and good. Who can really tell at that age?
If you end up in a "Haup" you do have the chance of getting into a "Real" school but you'd need very good marks and once you do end up getting into a "Real" one you'll find that you're having a lot of trouble to keep up with the rest as the "Haupt" standart is just so much lower than "Real". And it gets only worse with "Gymnasium". So yea... if they put you in any of the lower schools when you're 10 years old you're automatically gonna have a harder time. lol -
July 24th, 2014 5:55 PMBelldandyOh, what system is yours?
We do:
- Kindergarten (1yr)
- Elementary School (8yrs)
- Highschool (4yrs)
- University (3-5yrs Undergrad)
And then programs after the Undergrad varies.
In Quebec, I think it's:
- Kindergarten (1yr)
- Elementary School (6yrs)
- Highschool (5yrs)
- CEGEP (1-4yrs)
- Undergrad (3-5yrs)
etc. etc. -
July 24th, 2014 5:51 PMMaoMintAh ok - that's partly why I was asking because I didn't quite get the sense of that previous message but it did sound as though you'd be ending up together somewhere. @@
I'm afraid I am not too familiar with the english school system - yet anyways. x_x -
July 24th, 2014 5:49 PMBelldandyYeah,
Then I moved to Ottawa early for school (he doesn't come till end of August)I start my undergrad in September, and he starts a year of post-graduate studies at Algonquin College.
He already got his undergrad. It was so cute seeing him graduate <3
I'm really late for school, but I'm'a catch up and go to teacher's college :) only thirty more days till he comes permanently. -
July 24th, 2014 5:46 PMMaoMintAny plans on moving together at some stage? Not knowing much of your situation but I guess it would be a good thing on the long run? :)

July 24th, 2014 5:43 PMBelldandyHopefully. We'll destress for sure. We're both ridiculously on-edge.

July 24th, 2014 5:41 PMMaoMintOh I see. @[email protected] well then meeting up with him might just do the trick? :)

July 24th, 2014 5:35 PMBelldandyJust no appetite. I was depressed for a while and still am, so it's just accumulating.
And we've always lived about 220km from eachother, but I would pay the 80$ to see him every weekend. Then I moved to Ottawa early for school (he doesn't come till end of August), and I haven't seen him in four weeks. Not used to it at all. Ottawa is about 500km away from him, and about 170$ for the bus. I too poor. -
July 24th, 2014 5:25 PMMaoMintAh, I hope you'll feel better soon! 3: A cold?
I presume you guys live further away from each other? In that case I wouldn't want to play Pokémon either. :'') -
July 24th, 2014 5:23 PMBelldandyI've been ill recently, so I hope to finish both Houndours and Sneasel tonight / tomorrow. If not, it might be next week.
Haven't seen my boyfriend in four weeks, so Pokemon'll be the least of my concerns over the weekend :)
