I can't understand a word except for the cover itself but yeah, during all this month, people from the CSU and the almost-irrelevant-now FDP have tried to get votes by suggesting that Greece and probably most of the Bailout Team could get kicked off the Eurozone soon. Which causes a gigantic and massive terror over here, as we'd probably lose half of our GDP in a few months if that were to happen.

Ah yeah, forgot about the first succession step in the health care issue, very good. Some light in the darkness.

Regarding SPD and Grüne, they would only be the lesser evil, since they have been in power for a time and did what? Created HartzIV. Not cool. And they didn't brought down atom power plants when they had the chance, so that is one more reason not to vote for them. I'm still hoping for the Pirates but right now they are very lame. As I said, I think it's time to do something about it already, so in maybe a year or so I'll become active (after I did a lot of research, because basically I'm uneducated about much going on <_<); I started with a blog today (in German, so no point in giving you the link, is there?)

We are here praying for a coalition between the SPD and the Greens (with maybe eventual support from Die Linke). It's pretty ridiculous that we are here waiting for foreign elections but hell, we had a great party when Hollande won in France so we are kind of getting used to it. But the current policies of cuts and cuts and cuts won't help anything and only deepen the depression so our only hope is for the international policymakers to change.

As a political journalist, I know very well about Bild (the German Sun). I found it very ridiculous last summer than it was cheaper in Mallorca than some of our local newspapers. That already says a lot about its quality.

And I'm a member of a political party too. Hopefully Europe won't go to hell anytime soon but the more we do something about it, the better.

And about the US, well, what can I say. We are Europeans, we are naturally predjuiced about against them. It's worth noting though that their Supeme Court has rejected the paranoid allegations about Obama's first step to having something resembling a health care system being an evil plot from the CPSU to take over America. Some of them have a brain. Although I do wish they had candidates like Hollande and not Romney around...

Hi Went, long time not read! How have you been?

    > she's Satan reincarnated as a woman
Oh, how cute! Well, you could say the dumb part of Germany would kinda believe what is written in the Bild newspaper which thinks she is kinda okay. But the Bild newspaper is not independent (in contrary to what they say) and seems to support her political party, the CDU (which is short for Christlich-demokratische Union, but there isn't so much christianity about that party). It was them who brought the new law about getting our army into the land, although they are strikly a defense unit our constitution says. It is also them who tried to censor our Internet and support our atom power plants. Merkel is a physician, do you really believe after Hiroshima she took out her books and found out atom power plants are dangerous?
Merkel is not really good after all, but you should think of her as the top of the ice mountain. But unlike the USA (as far as I know) we have many who don't support them (as well as those who do, but this was clear), they only get a third and I hope for less in the future after this army law (see here:, the rightest column says how many percent they got the last election and the others are predictions by different institutes if the next election would be this sunday.)

Originally I planned to join politics when I'm old, but now I start thinking if I wait that long there may be nothing left to be saved, so I'll start now.

Also, do you know ANYTHING positive coming from the USA the past months? Except maybe the Mars thing? And sorry if I was too judgemental and prejustice against the USA or if I offended anyone, it's just – I'm trying to see something positive about this country, but I can't find a thing or two...

Sooo since you have been posting around poltiical topics, I'm going to ask you: how is Frau Merkel seen there in Germany? I can assure than here in Spain and most of the south she's Satan reincarnated as a woman, but I really wonder how a German person sees her and her government.
