You don't evolve it.
I mostly play in game too!
I don't really enjoy the competitive side but I learned a whole lot about breeding because of my son and a few friends who wanted competitive pokemon.
-
you think they would, i mean you get it breed it then check and see which is best one
so your basically blind until it gets max level through battles? the judge can see what its prospects are even at hatch age?
oh and thats fine I'm still just really confused about it all I'm used to playing through storyline not actually competitive breed
btw the second page was for a zorua correct? it evolves at level 30 so how could it have a hp of 40? can't be a level 50 Zorua unless you don't evolve it

Sorry I don't know what they call the stats for a level 1 or where you can find them.
I think no one pays any attention to them because they don't tell you anything.

Yes that taking all of your Zoruas to the Judge would be a good idea.
If he mentioned 3 stats and said they were equally good and can't be beat then all 3 were 31.
I can help with the breeding but I'm not that into competitive to help you decide the EV spread.
-
see that is showing zorua with a base of 40 hp while i can get a 12 hp base stat it just feels like mine are really weak

ok so i should take all my zoruas to the judge?
-
he mentioned three stats when describing roserade
is it possible for zorua to have a base stat hp of 40? what is the highest base stats it can have?
and yes special moves are what i was planning to utilize i know thats leaving defense open but if i can get in and attack then i have a good chance, plus illusion i bet gives 90% chance of buying a free turn
i just wanna figure out how to create the best starting stat pokemon then how to train them to get the right stats improved i know certain pokemon will raise certain stats its just getting best base stats possible

I choose nature to complement a Pokemon strongest stat and the moves I want to use.
Zorua has a strong spec attack and you plan to use Spec Attack moves.
So Timid is a good choice.
Newly hatched offspring don't have much variation in stats.
Sometime a different nature will make a 1 point change.
IVs are considered hidden because you have no idea what a pokemon's IV is unless you take it to the Judge or use an IV calculator. Most calculators aren't accurate until you get a Pokemon up to level 50 or so. There are a few ways to to see a Pokemon at level 50 without actually leveling it up

Your Roserade has at least 1 31 IV. Whatever the Judge said can't be beat was 31.

Timid increases Speed by 10% and lowers Attack by 10%
Which is ok because you plan on using Special Attack moves.
The level of your Ditto determines the stats NOT the IVs.
The IVs are determined when you put the parents in Daycare or if you are picking up more than one egg when you pick up the 2nd and any egg there after.
The IVs determine how good the stats can be. 31 being the highest.
EVs are something Pokemon EARN in battles. They can also increase stats.

My roserade got "can't be beat from the judge
