The director said he's trying to make this new season more similar to the classic Doctor Who. It'll be interesting, for sure. Also, you've probably seen Capaldi before. He played Caecilius in The Fires of Pompeii, an episode in season 4.
I’m not sold on him either. I’ve never seen him in anything before but I’m told he curses profusely. While I like that in some characters, I hope he doesn’t bring that to the doctor. I also was hoping we’d keep the doctor a younger character.
10 was awesome! But I have to say 11 is my favorite by a large margin. I'm still not entirely sold on Capaldi as 12 but I am excited to see what kind of performance he'll do :)
I must say the 10th face, although the 4th is a classic and the 11th was amazing. It’s hard to pick favorites among perfection. If Benedict hadn’t turned down the role recently, he might have been my favorite face.
Haha so true! (btw sorry about my late response. I didn't even realize you responded until just recently =/ Which face is your favorite face, if I may ask?
How can I call myself a decent human being and not know the many faces of the man who saves us every time BBC decides to make the world a better place? (Yeah)
