June 18th, 2009 10:23 PMAyano KatagiriYeah, a little. I have to start applying for scholarships before September, so I've got to decide around then at the latest.
Apparently it was "dumbed down" so that more people can pass. And yet, we still get people failing and I don't see how they can't get 80 out of 144 credits on offer. :[
Last year I didn't do enough and missed out on awards. Hopefully I've learned from that. xD -
June 18th, 2009 9:59 PMInept ProdigyIts hard to choose. I'm still not sure, but you still have some time, don't you?
=/ Well that sucks. I wonder why its like that. But its not too far off, just different letters and such.
XD Yeah, that's what happened to me. I actually studied more this year. A lot more now that I think about it. -
June 18th, 2009 12:42 AMAyano KatagiriI find it too hard to choose. :\
Yeah, the system here is not only ridiculous, it's really unknown in the world that I doubt this "qualification" will let me get accepted into a university outside of Australia and NZ.
Yup, sure is. I think I might try to study more this year.. and cut down on the anime and computer time. xD -
June 17th, 2009 2:26 PMInept ProdigyI have no idea what I'm gonna do, maybe study mathematics or something I suppose.
Ahh, it wouldn't make sense if you thought you failed and got an E grade, I shouldn't have thought F. XD Oh, wow, I've never heard of that system. We have A, B, C, D, and F. o.O This is kinda interesting. Hahaha.
O.o Daaaang! That's a lot in 2 weeks. -
June 14th, 2009 9:57 PMAyano KatagiriCool, same here. Do you know what you're going to do at university yet?
Sorry, I didn't expect you to be. Our system is honestly really odd.. We get graded out of four marks E, M, A and N. E (excellence) would be the equivalent of an A and N (Not Achieved) would be a F then. :\
Yeah.. 11 exams in 2 weeks. I'm gonna have problems this year. xD -
June 13th, 2009 11:51 PMInept ProdigyYes I am. Just graduated high school. =O Going onto university next year. ><
E grade? I'm sorry, not familiar with that. ><" Would that be the equivalent of F in America? 33 hours?! o.O That really is fun.. -_- -
June 13th, 2009 11:25 PMAyano KatagiriLucky~ :3
The grading system here is really poorly done.. I think I got half the paper wrong and still got the E grade. I agree completely. I am not looking forward to 33 hours of hell fun at the end of the year. -
June 13th, 2009 11:18 PMInept ProdigyIt sure isn't, but I'm done with that class now. =D Yay!
Oh yeah? Top grade possible...well that's good. Definitely better than me. XD Those exams don't sound very fun. Haha, because exams are never fun. They're nasty. XP -
June 13th, 2009 11:12 PMAyano KatagiriIt's not a good habit. xDD
Hmm.. well, I got the top grade possible for the tests, but I didn't ace them. I won't really have a good idea until October when I sit the mock exams. -
June 13th, 2009 11:06 PMInept ProdigyXDD I pretty much just sat there and checked the clock every so often.
I hope you got one too. =/ Any ides what you have right now? -
June 13th, 2009 11:04 PMAyano KatagiriI kind of have. Haha. We spend the time counting down the minutes until the end of the period.
I'm hoping for a good mark.. that is, if we can cover all the study material before the end of year exams. -
June 13th, 2009 10:56 PMInept ProdigyHahaha. Wow. It feels like you've given up or something.
Ouch. That sucks. It's a tough class, but at least you survived it. Hopefully with a good mark. -
June 11th, 2009 10:59 PMAyano KatagiriSame actually. XD
Mine's pretty bad this year.. I was really tempted to drop Physics for most of the first part of the year. -
June 11th, 2009 10:11 AMInept ProdigyOh, nice. I don't really like asking for help that much, >< I'm stubborn. XD
Oh wow, I took Physics. Took Chemistry last year, and Biology two years ago. My physics teacher sucked so much. -
June 11th, 2009 12:46 AMAyano KatagiriI agree! Well.. that's when I do solve it. XD Sometimes I have to get help, but my teacher is seriously like a genius. ^^
I'm taking Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Calculus and Japanese.
