I guess the concept has changed so much over the years, so now the four moves are much more valuable. Before, I just used to spam a super effective move regardless of accuracy or BP. Now I calculate, check and predict. It makes the four moves way more valuable. I don't see any harm in having five moves, though. Sorta like five fingers, not too many and not too less. One of the reasons spinoffs take off good is that they aren't restricted by the mainstream games. Freedom while making a game is, indeed, invaluable.

Yup. I agree. But I always felt the sync missing between the anime and the games. I've played DBZ games on GBA and they go well with their anime counterpart. That is not true in case of Pokemon. I really hate the limitations in the Pokemon gameplay. Graphics don't matter to me. But it is really frustating to limit your pokemon to only four moves.

ORAS is fortunately being released at the brink of fan speculation for the remakes. With the 3D engine just released, there's going to be a lot of nostalgia even for the 4th Gen. I guess Game Freak just started making what people want.

Haha, I hope not. Although if there is, no doubt another franchise would adopt many ideas from Pokémon and become popular. The game theme used in Pokémon is really flexible (as seen by the spinoffs) and yet very fun.

ORAS is sure to be a hit. There is still half a year and look everyone is on to it already. I wonder what they are going to make next. Will there ever be end to Pokemon?

Hmm, I'd better check it out. I fear most of these are just shams though. Besides, it's really really hard to emulate the 3DS image files, and it would take lots of effort to create an emu.

I'm going to buy ORAS, though, there's no stopping that!

But there was one guy in the community who had a support banner for pc version of XY. Also, there are people claiming they have obtained the pc versions. But I didnt find any.

Nope. I don't think I'm going to buy one, and I don't think there's an emu out yet.

I prefer playing hacks, but that's only because I feel that Gen IV and higher is cut-off from the hacking scene, so I treat everything below only in the criteria of originals. tbh it's hard to keep track about which all hacks you want to play XD

And as far the username goes I really have been on a hot pursuit for pokemon games ever since I played my first pokemon game - pokemon blue. I've talked about this in welcome lounge. The thing is that earlier I was unaware about hacks. The 'hunt' that time was meant for originals not hacks.

I have played Sacred Gold, Blaze Black but only upto the league. In Liquid Crystal and AshGrey I am halfway. I am looking anime-based Hoenn region hack. There was one I had found but it was under construction so I've decided to make one of my own.
