October 15th, 2014 8:10 AMHiatusThat does sound much, more easy! It's too bad that I don't have many perfect-IV Pokemon, though. How many do you have?
-
October 15th, 2014 6:00 AMAlfieriI believe only 1 IV passed down with those EV enhanced items. So you had to chain breed to get 5 ivs. Now the destiny knot makes certain that 3 IVs pass down from the parents. So if you have perfect iv parents, the offspring will be very likely to have 5 ivs perfect. If youre lucky, all 6.

October 15th, 2014 4:57 AMHiatusNope, never. Wish it were more fast!
Oh, I see, haha. It sounds pretty convenient. How tough was it to breed for IVs prior to that? =o -
October 15th, 2014 2:52 AMAlfieriThat sucks. Slow internet is never fun.
Everstone always helps in every game but it is the Destiny Knot that got a change to make more IVs get passed down, which made everyone go wild lol. -
October 14th, 2014 7:08 PMHiatusIt's mostly due to my net; if it were faster, I definitely would have gotten it done a lot sooner, haha.
Yeah, I've heard that breeding was made more easy. It's got something related to the item Everstone, doesn't it? -
October 14th, 2014 6:41 PMAlfieriThat'll be the first time I heard someone binge watching trailers lol. Have fun though, they get the job done.
Breeding is a lot easier in XY but still really really tedious if you're aiming for those perfect IVs and gender specific stuff like female starters. -
October 14th, 2014 6:35 PMHiatusI'm not much of an expert when it comes to breeding and whatnot, but am learning!
I haven't watched much ORAS trailers yet, haha. Will definitely give them a go at some point! -
October 14th, 2014 5:04 PMAlfieriMost definitely. In-game, it doesn't change much but breeding is the only time IVs and abilities really become stressful for me. However the new trailer for OR/AS really built my hype more than it needed to be built lol.

October 14th, 2014 5:01 PMHiatusHaha, I know what you mean. Personally, I didn't care much about this changes; I've just enjoyed myself.
-
October 14th, 2014 6:32 AMAlfieriAnd what's even funnier is that I started with RSE so again, I managed to love the changes without even knowing they were changes lmao.
-
October 14th, 2014 6:16 AMHiatusYeah, I could imagine. Some likely did not enjoy all those changes, haha.
-
October 14th, 2014 5:09 AMAlfieriI wonder if that's how Pokemon RBY fans were like when they picked up RSE and discovered natures and abilties. xD
Oh and double battles. -
October 14th, 2014 5:00 AMHiatusYup, games that aren't regularly liked by older players are definitely appreciated by newer, haha. It's not that they're completely bad of anything; it's just that veteran fans aren't likely used to their new mechanics and whatnot.
-
October 14th, 2014 4:39 AMAlfieriDuly noted. The same thing happened to me with Final Fantasy. I never played a Final Fantasy game before and I started with 13. Everyone hated 13 for being a non-traditional FF game but I absolutely adored it lol.

October 14th, 2014 4:35 AMHiatusAh, I see. Well, I'd recommend you to still consider it; Assassin's Creed III is great. Well, it might not be the best in their series, but still good nonetheless. If you haven't played any other AC game yet (which you haven't), then you'll likely enjoy it a lot more than I did, considering that you're not familiar with some of their mechanics and everything will more or less seem like a new experience. =)
