    Yes you can. I see really no need of using a tutorial, unless you have a problem remembering a quite simple step-by-step process. There are also a lot of useful tools in APE.

    Probably because I used the old way with Visual's tut.
    You can load the Rom directly from APE, right?

    That's weird. The replace button is always there. In the "Actual Palette", to the right there is 3 lit up buttons, one saying "Copy" when you scroll over it. Click that, and the palette should be copied onto the "Changed Palette", that is where it is editable. Then change whatever you want to change, and then click Replace.

    You have to press the "Replace" button. That will replace the "Changed Palette" with the "Actual Palette" in APE.

    Well I never use the AdvanceMap Palette Editor (I once tried, and never had any idea how to use it.) I advise you to continue to use APE. It's basically just as easy to use, from what I've heard.
