September 21st, 2013 9:24 PMTwilightBladeYeah it would go from principles of accounting (basic), then intermediate I, II, and III. Another class very similar would be auditing.
Computer Science is good! I know a guy who's gone off to work for Apple.
Oh man, working full time min wage barely gets the bills paid over here... It's the main reason why I haven't gotten my own place. Good luck, cutie. :( -
September 10th, 2013 12:05 AMSerene GraceHaha, my girlfriend says exactly the same! She thinks it's boring as hell, but she understands a lot of it. I guess it just makes sense to some people, haha. Intermediate accounting - is that like a step up? God you americans and your confusing education system!
Ah four years for a bachelors?! Damn that's long haha! I'm going to be spending 4 years at university which I would have hopefully graduated with a masters in Computer Science! ;)
And well the biggest up is that no bills to pay, right? That's always good! I have to start paying rent now, which I am not looking forward to. -
September 9th, 2013 6:08 PMTwilightBladeAccounting is boring, but I seem to understand a lot of it. Well, that is until I took intermediate accounting. Just kill me now.
Yeah, they're normally four year degrees in America. The accounting program encourages a student to take 5 classes a semester, though. Taking 4 a semester (considered a full-time student) would make it a five year degree then. Ouch!
However, I started college as a sophomore since I used high school exam grades to count as college transfer-in credits. I didn't have to take history, science, Spanish, etc in college then. I did have to take one English class and some math classes for accounting, though.
Soooo I'm attending 4 classes a semester, but I entered with a head start anyways, so I'll be finishing this one accounting degree in 4 years total. Best of both worlds, I guess?
I'm still at home, which has its ups and downs. -
September 7th, 2013 9:13 AMSerene GraceThat's a cool degree haha! I'm not much of an accounting person myself, I find it quite boring personally. I much prefer the administrator/computing side of business.
Haha, the reason I asked is that most (if not all) bachelor degrees over here are three years. It's only 4 years if you're doing a master's year, or you took a year out for experience in industry. Did you take a year out, or are bachelor's degrees four year courses in America? Haha I'm starting my first year towards studying for my bachelor's of science in Computer Science on the 28th. I'm well excited. I have to move out away from home for the first time! -
September 7th, 2013 8:49 AMTwilightBladeNah, bachelor's degree in business administration, specifically accounting. It's a four year degree.

November 28th, 2012 10:02 PMTwilightBladeNope, no 360! :( I'm such a dud, huh?
I can check my balance online; I love it! I forget my balance like 3 times a day, LOL. Ohh I definitely feel you. I live on a boring side of town. This city's so huge... I have one branch nearby but I still can't drive. I can't afford car insurance. :( -
November 23rd, 2012 1:16 AMSerene GraceNope, Xbox only I'm afraid m'dear! Please tell me you have Xbox? D:
And just because I have to travel for 15 minutes just to be able to transfer money onto my account or check my balance at will. The next time I go down there, I need to start up online banking and stop being so lazy! We recently moved house and I swear this new house is in the middle of nowhere - it doesn't help either that I can drive, but I can't afford insurance on my car with my current job. :( -
