;-; i wish i won the florida lottery yesterday so I can build a mansion that houses all of the pc staff and have breakfast catering every morning in bed <3

Aw I know someone in Boston, but didn't ask on how much rent was. :(

I was thinking of looking at Philly but I love the subway system around here. I have a license but haven't driven in years since I hardly needed to. I don't want to have to put down money for a car and car insurance quite yet (if at all, honestly; I loathe driving) so I'll need to make some sacrifices about where I will live.

Boston is unfortunately as expensive as NYC for the most part. ;-; from what I've seen. life..

Welp I don't make 3k a month. Yep living here on $11+/hr a month with some thriftiness if living alone or comfortably with a roommate.

It's not too bad since I love my new car and it's an easy straight-shot of a ride. I consider it a part of my daily "listening to music & chilling" time.

Ever thought about Boston or Philly or somewhere else? Nyc can be like that. :c

gross that's like 3-4x cheaper than here for a one bedroom. Usually they run for 2-3k$ a month and that's not including utilities for some of them. If they were 600-800 then I'd have been able to move out on my crappy former $11/hr salary when I was full-time xD

45 minutes.. kill me.. that's soo long. ): Then again it takes like an hour to get to Manhattan from Staten Island on the express bus. I'd prefer to stay around the NYC area since Manhattan has all the high-paying jobs and it's impossible to drive to work there because of lack of parking. But then I'd have to be ready to pay out the butt for rent...........

Aww yeah I can imagine how expensive it is to reside in NYC. Apartments here for one bedroom are 600-795. Maybe move to suburbs and drive the extra distance? My drive is like 45 minutes lol.

as in unable to move out of my parents' house quite yet. Most starting salaries won't be nearly enough to cover your apartment fees here, much less food/electricity/water/etc. Poo. I want to move to a cheaper state but that means less jobs which is no good either. @_x
