I'm pretty sure that by the time such a thing occurs, we may have the technology to prevent it, or even reverse it. I'm just happy that she's healthy in general.

My eyesight was fine until I turned 9. So she has a few years. She might be lucky and have her father's eyesight. Bot perfect, but much better. Both of my parents and all four of my grandparents needed glasses. I come from generations of bad eyesight lol.
Coding hurts my eyes, sadly. They are already in awful shape, so unless I get paid enough to have surgery done on my eyes (or be insured), then I cannot take that sort of job.
