True, he lived life like he had nothing to lose and that really went a long way for him as a villain

I also loved how Francis wasn't afraid to be a dick even when he was about to die. A villain that can be taken seriously is often fearless.

And don't forget his ability to grow gigantic sometimes too. Now that was a plot twist for all the other heroes. As Iron Man "Now would be a good time for any of you to unveil a new, powerful ability"

Well along those lines anyways xD I don't remember the exact wordage

He was a very good villain.

Ant-Man was a very good fighter, and the way he made use of his ability to shrink made him a tremendous threat to his enemies. If Spiderman could kick his ass, then Iron Man better consider trying to get his help as often as possible.

Oh Francis, of course haha I thought you meant Deadpool. Yeah that was a good one for sure

Yeah, Ant-Man is actually pretty cool/pretty strong as a hero! Definitely need to see his movie now as I am actually impressed by him hah

    Francis: What's my name?!

He could have single-handily defeated Ant-Man, and that is an achievement for characters that are even on some of the highest tiers.

You'd have to remind me which was his catchphrase, he said so many funny things that I feel like any of them could be his catchphrase haha XD

I mean I wouldve too probably haha he was just a kid in a costume who was starstruck by all the heroes. He held his own though, can't wait to see how he develops

His catch phrase was also quite entertaining. XD

The heroes were underestimating him a bit, although Spiderman made a wise move when he decided to leave. :P

Yeah he was pretty good, he was a good match for Deadpool.

I understand what you mean. Its all a matter of taste really. What you find to be unnecessary is something that I find to be awesome and hilarious haha Especially with how all the other heroes were just confused/annoyed that he talked so much.

Ajax/Francis from Deadpool was also an incredibly good villain.

Tom Holland wasn't horrible, I'm just saying that he spoke too often during the fight in Captain America Civil War. Tobey MaGuire's Spiderman only spoke to reason with the villains, make occasional taunts (at most), and statements that served the plot a purpose.

Fair enough, Ultron was pretty epic in terms of villains. Can't argue with the next giy's execution of his plan though, did a pretty good job in that regard.

Interesting, not often I see a Tobey Maguire fan, especially in comparison to Tom Holland (the new Spiderman). I thought he did a great job and I thoroughly enjoyed his speaking antics. Nice change compared to the other heroes.

I guess part of the reason why that douche was underwhelming is because Ultron was the previous villain for the "Avengers Series" (I'm not counting Ant-Man's villain due to the format of that movie_ , and that guy was practically a god in comparison to most of the Marvel villains we've seen in the past.

I prefer the Spiderman played by Tobey MaGuire, since he'd most likely talk less than the Spiderman played by whoever this new guy is. XP

Fair enough, I think it was more for plot building for the later movies than anything else. The villain was pretty underwhelming but he did his job well in causing a schism between the Avengers.

As a whole, I still loved it, especially Spiderman. Granted, I'm also a huge sucker for all of Marvel's movies.

I...didn't exactly like the subtext, or the fact that the Avengers became enslaved by the government.

    >__>

The villain was also underwhelming compared to Ajax/Francis, and especially Ultron.

The Captain America one? If so, then yes. I loved it
