June 15th, 2015 10:04 PMGreenFlameOh, hi! It's been ages, sorry about that!
I haven't played Mewtwo yet, I didn't get the DLC. I do however, have the ability to play Wii U games now, so hopefully I can get Smash 4 Wii U within the next month or so, because I feel like 3DS controls are sort of holding me back with the game - it feels very fluent to use a GCC, for example with Project Melee.
For the Wii U, I have Super Mario 3D World (100%'ed it), Mario Kart 8, Splatoon (really fun and addictive) and Zelda: Wind Waker HD. I also have a couple of amiibo as well, including a Luigi one.
I've been up to some programming, learning a bit of C++. I've also been playing TF2, and I'd forgotten how addictive that can be xD
Sorry again about the long time. How have you been? -
June 15th, 2015 5:55 PMAvenHey "Cosmic" I like the new name :P How are you liking Mewtwo? He's a pretty interesting character to play in my opinion. Anyway, I'm just trying to catch up, it's fun having conversations with people that are similar to you.

February 22nd, 2015 11:23 AMAvenYeah, Smash Wii U's lag is almost unnoticeable.
-
February 22nd, 2015 6:29 AMGreenFlameThanks :D! I just really like how Project M feels. I also learnt dash-dancing in PM today, and it's actually extremely useful as a movement option. and it looks cool and flashy too
I'd like to do Project M Wifi-play if it wasn't laggy. But I tested, and the input lag is too much :(
I still wish I could get the Wii U version. But who knows, maybe I can sometime in the future? In the meantime, 3DS is all I've got for Smash 4.
And like I said, I would totally be able to get a feel for Melee and pick a main if could alter the controls...I just can't play properly when I can't use L to grab xD
I'm pretty sure I'll be buying Mewtwo as DLC in Smash 4 when it comes out. I really hope he plays similarly to his PM self. Can't wait :D
And I'd like to be able to play you in Smash 4 again, but that's also laggy as well :( I wish I could fix it. CPUs really aren't fun. -
February 21st, 2015 11:08 AMAvenHey, long time no text xD Dude I'm so happy for you that you have Project M! And I don't blame you for liking it more than Melee. Comparing all the characters and features they have Project M definitely wins. I still play Melee a lot more, even though I love all the characters and pure technicality of PM, I guess I'm just too used to Melee's speed that Project M throws me off just enough to suck at it xD
Smash for Wii U is awesome! I wish I had more time to play it though, it's so much fun with friends, and it definitely has a lot more content over the 3Ds version.
And yeah, Gamecube controller is the best. I'm so used to it that whenever I pick up my Wii U gamepad, my right pointer finger is slightly higher than my left pointer finger because I'm so used to Z being there xD.
Can't wait for Mewtwo to be back, I'm gonna beast with him :3
We'll have to Smash some more sometime! It's been too long. -
February 20th, 2015 8:38 AMGreenFlameHey, how have you been? How's Smash Wii U? I still don't have it unfortunately...
But I do have Project Melee now, and it's my favourite Smash game (even though it's not an official Smash game)! I tried Melee but I can't get into that purely because of Z to grab..I need L to grab!
Anyway, Mewtwo is my PM main...he feels so fluent to control. I would probably be using Luigi as well but I can't get used to PM Luigi not being as floaty. I sort of secondary Ivysaur, as he was one of my favourite Brawl characters, but I felt like the whole Pokémon Trainer stuff held him back (...plus Brawl is kind of not that good of a fun competitive game...).
I know what all the fuss is about with the GCC now...definitely the best controller for Smash.
It's a shame I couldn't participate in the Smash team tournament. It's because I know for a fact that there will be some noticeable amount of input lag, especially with four players. -
December 26th, 2014 10:05 PMGreenFlameThanks!
Oh my gosh, I'm jealous, I want a Luigi amiibo and Smash Wii U! Also, congrats on the $10 gift card!
My Christmas was good, I got to see relatives and all that stuff. Also got presents :P
Also because I have a supporter rank, I have a blog now. Gonna try my best to use it well.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas, and have a safe and happy New Year! -
December 26th, 2014 6:34 PMAvenCongrats on your Gold Supporter rank man! And Merry Christmas, hope yours went well. I'm personally having fun with my Link amiibo and Smash for Wii U x3

December 18th, 2014 3:46 PMGreenFlameI like 3 stock 8 minutes. If I do 2 stock I do 5 minutes, but IMO 3 is more fun for teams because it allows for more Share Stocks (which are always fun).
-
December 18th, 2014 2:28 PMAvenI like friendly fire too, more realistic and it makes you more accurate in a real match. Did you want to add a time limit too? Or just stock?
-
December 18th, 2014 1:55 PMGreenFlameYep! I'll host, but if there's input lag we'll both leave and you try hosting. Make sure you set the rules to 3 stock, no items, Friendly Fire on if you have to host.
I like Friendly Fire, it adds some more strategy.
Edit: Ah, okay. No problem! -
December 18th, 2014 1:45 PMAvenDone with my matchups, wanna do that team match now? :)
Edit: Nevermind, my older sister is coming home for the holidays in an hour and I need to finish up some chores :p Maaaaybe we can do it tomorrow if my family isn't doing anything? Talk to you later man :) -
December 18th, 2014 1:21 PMAvenOf course I've seen and fought good Luigi's. He has tons of potential but not many people take him up on it. He's very good in Project M as well.
And yeah I'd love to do some. But maybe in a couple minutes, doing my matchup with Wilhelm right now. -
December 18th, 2014 1:16 PMGreenFlameThanks, I was thinking that when I first saw I was matched up with him. If they do another tournament, I'd like to be able to go in it matched up with someone more on my level and without input lag. His Jigglypuff is quite good, I should've used Jiggly as well because I think that's my best female character and maybe I wouldn't have lost quite as badly. He would've won either way.
By the way, have you played/watched any competent Luigis in Smash 4 yet? I think he's really solid in this game, if you haven't played/watched anybody you should go watch some matches of somebody by the name of "Boss" if you'd like to see Luigi's potential.
By the way, are you up for any 2v2s with CPUs today? It's fine if you're not. -
December 18th, 2014 12:27 PMAvenYep, we'll just have to wait.
By the way, sorry you didn't win your matchup with Spino, I lost to him too in the last tournament, mainly because of input lag and just being nervous. He's got an interesting playstyle for sure, with the whole dodging attack defense thing. Just letting you know that you got a tough guy your first match.
