thats weird. They probably did it because a lot of people love futuristic settings, and a lot of games are starting to conform to that. I think COD is going in that sort of direction as well.

Yea, learning how to have those special powers would be sick. And in some of those lores, little kids grow up in a forest and can turn into tigers (nidalee). Does that mean if I spend a bunch of time flying in the air, i can turn into a bird?

Cyberpunk is super cool as well! I love it when in stories, everything is hopeless, and every victory comes at a price. And many games and stories now really encompass that well.

Moonrise is really good, and gets pretty challenging mid-late in the game. SAVE YOUR GEMS!!!

Are you able to play league?

You wanna what the weird thing is, even though Catalyst is a prequel, the setting more futuristic than the first game which wasn't futuristic at all, but I really don't care since I like the setting of Catalyst more than the setting of the original Mirror's Edge. I have played Minecraft before, didn't play it that much, but I know what you mean.

The Pokemon world would be a fantastic world to live in and it is not as fierce or violent (except for battling) as other worlds. Yeah, the LoL world would have a lot of war, but it would still be cool to be able to live in it.

I really love those settings as well. In games I mostly love sci-fi or more futuristic settings as well as fantasy, and I really love any sort of survival setting (Weather I'm a weak character who can barely defend themselves or where I can defend for myself, but I have to scavenge for resources, I especially love it when it is survival horror.). For movies, I mostly love anything that is set in a modern setting (Or modern for the time), but I also love sci-fi settings in movies. Can't say anything for books since I don't read books. But my overall favorite setting would be cyberpunk, anything with a cyberpunk setting will automatically get me excited. And I absolutely love a setting with zombies in it, in both games and movies. I also really like a giant city to be a general setting, I don't know why, but I just love settings where it takes place in a giant city rather it be zombie apocalypse, post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk, and sci-fi.

You should if you like action RPG shooters. Both Fallout 3 and New Vegas are good, fun games in my opinion and either one would be a good to start with, however if you can, buy the GOTY version of Fallout 3 or the Ultimate Edition of New Vegas so that way you can get everything at a discounted price. So far, I'm really enjoying Moonrise. I only played it a couple of hours, I've mostly been playing Metro 2033 Redux which has so far been really fun, but I did enjoy Moonrise a lot. I feel like Moonrise is one of the games that has done the free-to-play experience right.

Yea, those graphics look so realist, its insane. And I love that futuristic setting as well. I have always loved the look of futuristic cities with the blues, whites, greys, and other colors. If you played mine craft, you will see me use that style and color theme a lot. I mix the futuristic colors and features with architecture of regular homes, and in my opinion, looks really nice.

Pokemon would also be an awesome world to live in. You get the modern-day looks of the world, but also the excitement of other video game worlds without having to worry about getting shot or being eaten alive. I have one issue with the LoL world. The lore has so much war and everything, and without the LoL, war would be rampant. Not to mention, there are so many evil people and dangerous creatures in that world that have access to magic and stuff. I would never feel safe, and idk if I would want to live in a world like that. Not to mention, there all of the different dimensions with all whole new creatures.

My favorite setting is anything post-apocalyptic and war-torn. I also like futuristic settings and almost anything Sci-fi. I love books, movies, and just about everything like that. The use of dark and depressing colors add to it all. I love it when any character can die at any moment, even main characters. Or characters dying in vain is amazing. My favorite end-of-the-world is probably zombies. I like it when authors and video games change zombies so they aren't the old, stereotypical zombie. I like my zombies fast, less human-like, and more monster-like.

I must get this game haha. Maybe ill buy it sometime this summer. How are you liking Moonrise?

In all honesty, I do wander how a lot of video game worlds would be like if they were real life. With Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, it looks like a video game and real life put together having the perfect mix of realism with it looking really real, but also having some very bright, colorful, and vibrant colors which I'm gonna be really honest about I don't see much of in real life, and even when I do see bright colors in real life, they are nowhere as vibrant as the colors that I've seen in the trailers of Mirror's Edge: Catalyst or the original Mirror's Edge. And back to wandering what the world would look like, I sometimes I do wander the same thing with not only Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, but also from other games such as Mass Effect and League of Legends, Mass Effect does take place in the future, but it make me wander what the world would be like if it was gonna look like that, but more like it does in the games especially since there are some truly beautiful places in the series such as the Citadel, and League of Legends with its fantasy setting and numerous different life as well as magic.

Now that we are talking about it, I do want to ask, what are some of your favorite types of settings for video games, movies, and other stuff in general?

Well I can't say anything about the Fallout: New Vegas expansions, but I can fully speak on the expansions for Fallout 3 and as if to they are worth $5, it depends on which ones. Operation: Anchorage is definitely not worth the $5 because it is a really short expansion and once you beat it, you can't really do anything more with it other than try out of the unlockable gear that you get after completing it, and with the exception of 2 items, I really didn't care for them. The Pitt is really stretching on it on rather it is worth it or not, you can go back to the The Pitt expansion after you complete it, but there isn't much to do in it once you complete it. The final 3 expansions, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta are definitely worth their prices.

No, because I agree too. I have always wondered what the world would be like if we had mine craft graphics lol. Imagine if everything were blocks... And to be honest, if the graphics in catalyst were the real life graphics, I wouldnt complain. :P

Because of the amount of DLC, I can't tell if the developers are just trying to milk their games or the fan base legit loves the Fallout series. But thats awesome anyways lol. Are the expansions really worth $5? If the game is $20, does it really equal to 1/4 of the real game?

X3 Would I be weird if I agree with that comment? OuO

If you want to expand your experience then yes. For Fallout 3, skip the Operation: Anchorage DLC, it lets you go to Anchorage, Alaska and you get to fight in a battle that happened in the universe, but you can't go back to it and once it is done, it's done, I only recommend getting Operation: Anchorage if you want the cool, but broken and overpowered stealth suit armor (Trust me, it's broken. You can literally finish levels without any sort of fight because it makes you invisible when you crouch.). The Pitt is a cool DLC as you get to go to Pittsburgh, and it is very dark, but it is short. Broken Steel is a must buy, and I'm gonna have to spoil a bit about Fallout 3, but once you finish with the main quest of Fallout 3 then the game is done, you can't go back and do more stuff unless you have a save file before you ended the main quest, but with the Broken Steel DLC you get more quests to do and you can continue playing the game after the main quest. Point Lookout is my personal favorite of all the DLCs for Fallout 3 as it gives you another world to explore on the coast of Maryland, complete with its own questlines to do, new items, armor, and weapons, and more and you can even go back between The Wasteland and Point Lookout when you so desire. Mothership Zeta is an awesome DLC as it lets you fight aliens on their space ship and it can even become your home (I think) when you complete it, but there's not a lot after it. If I'm not mistaken, I think one of them increases your level cap.

As for New Vegas, I haven't played any of the DLC for New Vegas. I heard Dead Money was okay, I heard Honest Hearts was good, I heard Old World Blues was amazing, and I heard nothing about Lonesome Road.

The trailer is very good! lol, someone in the comments section said it had better graphics than in real life haha.

Fallout 3 is only $10, as well as New Vegas. Do I need the DLC?

I know I did and I did try to work with team mates, but they were just a pain to deal with on there.

Oh definitely watch the E3 2015 trailer because it looks beautiful, but both the gameplay and E3 2015 trailer are really amazing to watch.

Only the first two Fallout games are turn based and they were developed in 1996 (I think) and 1998 for PCs and they had a look similar to strategy games at the time, when the 3rd game came out that is when they turned into RPG 1st person and 3rd person (you can switch between the two, but I prefer the 1st person view) shooters. I would honestly say if you want to start with a Fallout game, start with either Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas, both are similar except the settings are different, Fallout 3 takes place near and in Washington D.C. while New Vegas takes place in the Mojave Desert and Las Vegas (Although called New Vegas and smaller than Las Vegas), as well as some other differences. I personally liked Fallout 3 more than New Vegas.

Okay you're good to go. I enjoyed the movie a lot. Although don't watch Battle Royale 2, it's not where as good, and in my opinion I think Battle Royale 2 is bad and just really boring to watch as there is always too much of something somewhere and it just does not make any sense at all.

Same, sort of. I mostly just talked in the mic and stuff, trying to work with other people. Hopefully I didnt annoy the crap out of anyone.

Oh, I watched the 5 minute gameplay trailer because thats what I saw first lol. I should probably watch the real trailer lol.

What? How could Fallout be turn-based? That seems really weird lol, especially now because its a fps game (or 3rd person?).

I have a netflix account I can use.

I do have to admit that I used to be one of those COD kids, but I stopped being a COD kid when the original Black Ops was released.

And remember, I cried when I saw that trailer, like tears were just non-stop flowing down my eyes because it looks so gorgeous. There kinda is. Catalyst is gonna tell the origin story of Faith and how she became the person she was in the original Mirror's Edge. I do remember the name Kruger as that name was mentioned in the original Mirror's Edge in the form of a security company, so I'm wandering if this Kruger is the same as the Kruger that was in the first game. As for Faith being a spy, she as well as the people she works with are known as Runners, they act like spies in a way, they gather information and they sell it (Although if I remember correctly, they also sometimes use it) and as their name suggests they specialize in running, being fast and agile to outrun, they prefer to use melee combat and agility than guns, and they don't use gadgets, instead they climb buildings from both the outside and inside. Recently they released a 5 minute gameplay trailer for Mirror's Edge: Catalyst in its current Pre-Alpha form, and it looks fantastic and I recommend you watch it as well if you want.

Fortunately, no you don't have to. I started with Fallout 3 because that was where the series took a huge leap, becoming an open world RPG action shooter and being released a decade after the 2nd game, where as Fallout and Fallout 2 were open world turn based games.

Besides getting a copy of it on DVD or Blu-ray, Netflix does have it on their service to stream.

yea, and I am astonished at how many of them has screwed my mom, too. 12 year old squeakers should not have that kind of language.

oh my gosh. I watched the trailer and it looks AMAZING!!! The graphics and mechanics look so smooth! There also seems to be some sort of mystery going on. I am guessing Faith is some sort of spy?

wow. If the fallout games go on sale again, I will definitely pick one up. Do i have to play in order?

wow. It seems much more intense than hunger games! Where can I find the english sub?

The community on all COD games are terrible. You have little kids trying to like grown ups, you got grown ups who are little kids, and you got people who are not fun to be around.

Parkour, and yes Mirror's Edge is the parkour game. I love it a lot, and I can't wait for the prequel, Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, to come out, I can't even give the prequel any justice other than that one of the biggest improvements will be that it will have an open world, and will focus primarily on Faith's (the main character) physical strength and melee abilities and her parkour abilities. I recommend checking out the E3 2015 trailer for Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, and I'm not gonna lie, that trailer literally made my jaw hit the floor and I cried because I just love it to pieces. If it is everything that the developers promises that it'll be, than without a doubt it will be my favorite game of all time.

The Fallout games do have a really cool setting, and I also like how it also has a 50s feel as well with the way that some people dress and the radio stations playing 50s music. Plus the Fallout games have some pretty cool stuff to it, like Fallout 3 for example has this cool quest called "Tranquility Lane", it is a very boring and not very fun mission if you decide to play it the good way, but if you decide to play that quest in the evil way it is just really, really fun, it's messed up, but fun. Not to mention I spent like 500 hours, maybe more, on Fallout 3 alone.

Battle Royale is kinda like The Hunger Games, both have the same concept and are both movie adaptations of a book, except Battle Royale came out before The Hunger Games. Basically it's like this, there is an island, 42 students are sent to it, they have to battle it out for 3 days to survive against each other, only 1 student can leave, and there is no escape from the island.

Yea, that was my first and only COD game I have ever owned. I had BO1 for like a little bit. I dont really like the community all that much and there are better fps games.

Mirror's Edge is the par core game, right? I love the setting for the Fallout games. I really like sci-fi, post-apocalyptic story lines.

Battle Royal sounds cool. What is that about?

BO2? Is that Black Ops 2?

But anyway, I can at least guarantee that out of the ones I mentioned, Mirror's Edge is definitely in my very top favorites, like in my 10 favorites, I love that game to death and I can't wait for its prequel to come out and I also loved the Mass Effect series, including the 3rd one which a lot of people hated because of the ending. Fallout is also really fun, I especially love Fallout 3.

Same here. I don't watch a lot of Japanese films, I have only watched Ju-On, Battle Royale, Battle Royale 2, a movie that was like saw and I forgot what it was called, and now Outrage. However I do just want to say, I really, really love Battle Royale. Just sayin X3.
