April 27th, 2015 5:12 PMPendraflareYes, in Florida there are the DisneyWorld parks and the Universal parks, which i've been to many times at younger ages. And Busch Gardens, too. When we were in Sarasota at the beginning of March for semester break, we almost went to Busch Gardens Tampa, but I ultimately decided not to.
And I have an older sister and a twin brother, but they're already out of college and living with others. -
April 27th, 2015 3:32 PMAquaMarine8Very nice! I've always wanted to go to Six Flags. I'm a huge adrenaline junkie, so I love roller coasters. Glad to hear you had a nice time. :)
I'm an only child. It gets a bit lonely, I won't deny it. But it's also...nice, at the same time. Kind of difficult to fully explain, but for the most part I enjoy it. I do have my down moments, though. -
April 26th, 2015 5:20 PMPendraflareWell, it was my birthday weekend, which I already talked about. But yesterday we went on a big extracurricular trip to Six Flags America, which is Maryland. It was a fun time, definitely. It was nice for most of the day, but it started to rain as our time there neared its end. I surely enjoyed myself, though.
And that sounds fun, it's always nice going to pretty places like those. (: If you don't mind me asking, are you an only "child" or do you have any siblings? -
April 26th, 2015 4:55 PMAquaMarine8Oooh that sounds difficult. Ayep, that's why I'm just "starting over", if you will. I definitely need a refresher in algebra!
My weekend was great! My parents and I went to Fort DeSoto National Park/Beach yesterday, it's so beautiful there. One of my favorite places here to go. Did you do anything fun this weekend? ^^ -
April 26th, 2015 4:02 PMPendraflareI would understand that, I had to take algebra courses two semesters in a row, both of which had my grades based exclusively on exams.
That aside, how was your weekend? Anything significant? -
April 26th, 2015 3:19 PMAquaMarine8My back kept on bothering me afterwards, so that's the only reason why. But it was all fine. :)
Ah, I see. I would probably have discontinued it too, to be honest, because I'm not very good with complex technology. I have trouble with math, so even though according to the SATs I'm good to take Intermediate Algebra, I'll probably just take Beginning to refresh myself. It'll take longer, but it's okay. I'm in no rush. ^^ -
April 26th, 2015 12:00 PMPendraflareWell it's good that they've never been for anything serious. I don't remember the last time I had an accident and would not ever recall having to get an MRI.
I had problems with a class that involved filming and producing live videos, as there was a lot of technology that I kept messing up when we were given our cues. It was not fun, and I was suggested not to continue as it would only get even more complex had I stayed. I took my math courses at community college. -
April 26th, 2015 6:59 AMAquaMarine8Actually, they've been mainly due to simple things. For example, I've had CT scans on my sinuses and head because of bad sinus infections (although for some reason, I grew out of them). I was also in an accident one time and had to have an MRI for my back. So nothing too out of the ordinary. :)
Oh, nice! It's great that you're still able to minor in it. Which class was it that got to you, if you don't mind me asking? I have trouble with math, myself. Luckily for radiology, I don't think that much math is involved other than the basics. -
April 26th, 2015 6:56 AMPendraflareOh... Does that mean you've had to go through these procedures due to certain conditions you might have had? If that's true that doesn't sound fun. Dx
And I did have communications but changed it to English after one of my classes a year ago really started irritating me, it was at the discretion of my advisor. But I still had comm credits so I was able to get a minor out of that. -
April 26th, 2015 6:49 AMAquaMarine8Oh, nice! I was actually majoring in communications at one time, but changed it a while after (like I always do).
Yep! I've had many CT scans/MRIs/what have you in my time, and have always been fascinated by the machinery. I would love to operate them myself someday!
So hopefully I stick with radiology! xD -
April 25th, 2015 4:54 PMPendraflareI'm majoring in English with a minor in Communications. Two areas that really appeal to me.
And I take it you're into healthcare? -
April 25th, 2015 1:17 PMAquaMarine8You're very welcome! :) *hugs back*
Ah yes, you're probably right. Oh, that's awesome! What are you graduating in, if you don't mind me asking? In any case, an early congratulations to ya! :D I'm majoring in radiology, myself. -
April 24th, 2015 6:54 AMPendraflareThank you so very much! ^_^ *hugs*
And Beef o' Brady's? Can't say that's a place i've ever heard of, it's likely somewhere that's more to the south than here in Pennsylvania, where I live. And I like being at the university, but in two or three weeks i'll be returning home. I plan to graduate in December, and i'll be here for one last semester. -
April 24th, 2015 6:51 AMAquaMarine8Sports bars are good (I love chicken wings). Have you tried Beef o' Brady's? I love that place. Pretty much everything there is good. Ah, that's what I plan on doing; transferring to a Uni after obtaining my two year. How do you like University?
And happy birthday!! :) Enjoy your special day.~ -
April 23rd, 2015 5:19 PMPendraflareI live at college pretty close to where my parents are, and I went to community college through 2009 to 2013 before transferring to a university. And there are plenty of places I like to eat, like sports bars, fish places, and such. On weekends I usually take the bus to a mall or where I work and get food there, but for this occasion I'm sure I'll be doing something more fun.
